Hello everyone!

We sent our I-129F packet last April 11, 2016 and got the email notification from USCIS acknowledging they recieved our package last April 18, 2016. Now we are waiting for the hard copy in the mail. We filed it to Dallas TX lockbox and was forwarded to California Service Center.

I've heard that it is much faster to receive the NOA2 if your case is forwarded to CSR. I hope this is true. We are anxious ? and excited ? (like everyone here ?) for the NOA2.

Good luck to us guys! ?? Will post some updates soon....

Congratulations on starting the process- I received the text/ email the day after you!

From what I understand, all I-129Fs are now sent to CSC. Unfortunately this means that they are not being processed as fast as they were a few months ago and from looking at people's timelines it will probably be around 2 months before we get our NOA 2 :( You never know what could happen, maybe things will change and the process will speed up but be prepared for a long wait now...

Is there any of you here know why they transfer your case from Texas to California? Just want to know. Thanks.

No they don't transfer it they route it ...

Texas has been backlogged (it took 9 months from NOA1 to NOA2) so as of March 27th 2015 all application are routed to Cali.

Congratulations to you as well! We're still waiting for the hard copy from mailbox.

Oh I see... I hope it will not take that much longer. I've also seen other timelines they take about 45 days until they received the NOA2. Anyway, it's different from cases to cases.

Was that recently?! I know I have seen a few people that had their NOA2s in under 20 days but I think that was back in the summer. This is the graph that shows the average number of days between NOA1 and NOA2 at CSC... hopefully that line will go down for us! :)
