AAARRGGHHHH!!!!!!

How is it that everybody is clearing the NVC stage except us? This is so frustrating. We received our NOA2 Approval more than six weeks ago. USCIS blames NVC for not processing it. NVC blames USCIS for not sending it. Somebody needs to take some damn responsibility and get this done and over with. I am so pissed right now. USCIS claims they sent our petition / approval to NVC but they have no evidence to back that up. NVC claims they have no receipt of our petition. The NVC customer service rep told me that 90% of all issues with lost / misplaced / missing / damaged / delayed petitions falls on USCIS.

I have my interview on the 2nd September in London. I've got the following documents all lined up and good to go:

* appointment booking confirmation

* ds160 confirmation

* passport

* birth certificate (with both parents names on)

* affidavit of support

* partners w2, letter from his employer, payslips, balance printouts from bank

* US passport photos X 4

* police certificate

I want to talk to work about handing my notice in tomorrow and have found a really cheap one way flight (that I can cancel for a charge of £35) for 1st October, should I just book the ting?

I don't see why you couldn't as London states you will receive your passports and paperwork within 10-14 days from approval. It's your choice, but for the sake of £35 I wouldn't hesitate.

Sounds like you have all the documents you need, so if you are able to cancel for a small fee, why not!

Which airline allows you to do that?

That is really awful... after all of the waiting we all have to go through with this process no one deserves a nightmare like this!

Did you get your physical NOA2 from USCIS?? I read that this same thing happened to someone else on here and NVC allowed them to fax their approval notice to them and they assigned the case number from that. I hope that this all is sorted out soon for you guys. Best of luck!

I just called and got my LND number!!! 15 days from NOA2! Soooooo excited right now! Can't wait to book the medical and interview ???

Congratulations to everyone who has been approved this last few days! So happy for you all ?

That is so great!!! All of the waiting for your NOA2 allowed the NVC to pick up its pace and let you get your case number much faster than some others! Good luck with the last few steps... things will move much faster from here on out :)
