Hey guys! I've been following your conversation so far and finally decided to join. We received our NOA1 on April 18th and I'm growing more impatient as time goes so I decided talking to you would help. Best of luck to all of us!

Hi there! Welcome to VJ! Youll meet friends over here. We received our NOA2 same date as yours.

I know how that feels though but i let it go because it frustates me.

I hope we get our NOA2 very soon...

Good luck!

I thought the police certificate is good just for 3 months, is that depend of the country? and the birth certificate is also 3 months, doesn't it? that's why I didn't start yet to get my papers

Police Certificate could depend on the country. The UK ACRO website, where my fiance got his says

"There is no set period of time for which the Police Certificate is considered to be valid. The Police Certificate is only truly accurate on the date of issue. Embassies, high commissions, consulates or other authorities will usually require you to produce a Police Certificate which has been issued less than six (6) months before your visa interview."

But I've also read that it's good for up to a year...so, it would probably be best to check the specific place that issues your police certificate.

Birth Certificates should not ever expire, because the information will never change. I do know the birth certificate must be official, with a seal from the issuing agency.

Now is the time to figure out all of these questions, while we have nothing to do but wait for NOA2. I found a lot of good information in the UK forum. You should read through the forum for your country for tips and suggestions.

I wonder why they are moving backwards when it appears they are processing k1's normal or even faster than normal timeframes. Thats why I cant even look at the timelines. Lol

Before the speed we did have a considerable period of slow down, where only a handful of NOA2's or RFEs were being sent out per day. Its only last week when we started to see a tick up in the number of NOA2's. For the timelines to change we need more high number days to counter the effects of the slow days. The other thing we need is that the wait time between NOA1 and NOA2 has to be reduced in these new ones for it to budge.

I have a feeling it got worse than we thought, and that is now being revealed more as the data fill out. Nevertheless, if this pace continues, I think the estimates have more or less topped off, and the dates should start closing in again. Right now, the end of my window is July 10th. I don't think it will be moved back any further unless the pace drops off again.

Agreed esp if the March numbers come in fast then our dates should move up on VJ. The dates are however just a guess so not much weight should be given to it other than it being a nice indicator.
