Hello Everyone ,

I'm finally really almost done.. I have all supporting documents, but now comes creating the packet. I have concerns about the best way to create the packet, for example what type of folder/binder to use, how to attach the photos, and how much supporting evidence is enough. I would appreciate any help given, thanks in advance. I just want to be very very sure

I followed their general tips found here for assembling the packet: https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing

I organized my packet using bottom tab dividers and exhibit tabs respective to the table of contents. I can post some pictures if you'd like later tonight when I get home but this gives you the general idea.

I wish I saw those tips before I sent mine! I just had a table of contents then stacked everything in order according to my table of contents. No staples, no tabs, no binders, no folders. I figured they will scan/assemble and any binding or tabs would just get in the way. I printed my pictures as collages on 8X11 paper. I wanted everything in a simple neat stack with nothing loose hanging around.

I got one of those great big clips and clipped it all together. All lose. Then i had an attached envelope full of pictures and a couple documents that were certified copies since that is how they came-- my divorce certificate and my birth certificate. Don't care if they are copies because i can get all the copies i need for 15 bucks each from my state.

From what I understand they have to take all the stuff apart and file it so the less they have to screw with the better, I would imagine.

Hello Everyone ,

I'm finally really almost done.. I have all supporting documents, but now comes creating the packet. I have concerns about the best way to create the packet, for example what type of folder/binder to use, No need for a binder or any folder, they will detach everything and put it on their file folder. Just use a big double clip to hold all pages together. I made a cover letter with all the contents (signed by my fiance) and arrange everything accordingly.

- my personal addition, i made a footer of our names on each pages so if they misplaced it, it can be easily traced back.

how to attach the photos, as suggested, collage can be done on a paper and print in color, indicate your names, place and date it was taken. If you already have printed photos write your name, date and place it was taken at the back and tape on edge on a paper so that it was easily be flipped.

and how much supporting evidence is enough. - attached primary evidence of proof of meeting in person such as boarding passes, immigration stamps, hotel billing/ receipts when you met. I attached my I94 when I went to the US.

Photos are secondary, 5 photos are ok but you can attach more if you want. For conversations you can crop sample call logs, message in a span of months/ yrs. - these were returned to me with my passport/ visa packet outside the sealed envelop.

I would appreciate any help given, thanks in advance. I just want to be very very sure
