Me too. But for the jellyfish lake, you have to snorkel. It's a totally surreal experience, swimming amongst all these beautiful, stingless jellyfish.

I'll keep that in mind.

I did get to dive with thousands of comb jellies once in the mediterranean. It was incredible - felt like I was in underwater version of Avatar lol

Our American diet, full of chemicals and fructose, is terrible. Yes, I blame the food industry for that but I have only myself to blame if I buy and eat it.

That still is no excuse for the industries to produce the poison they do.

It seems to me more all the time this is an issue we actually do need government to step in and say no more of this: i'm speaking specifically to the junk food and the advertising related to it. It's true that most people are overweight due to simple ignorance and lack of will power, but that's like saying a rock thrown in the air falls down because of gravity. Gravity is a law as is most people's general ignorance and will power. For the same reason a recovering alcoholic shouldn't work at a bar, most people clearly struggle to eat properly in the face of modern life. The modern world applies inordinate pressure on getting fat and it is difficult to control long term (as evidenced by the fact most adults are overweight and half of them are clinically obese).

Advertising just gets better all the time but we don't get better at fighting it.

Good luck!

Whereabouts in the Med was that? Sounds fun.

In Israel not far from Rosh Hanikra(aka "The Grottos").

Wow! Just googled Rosh Hanikra- amaaaaaaazing...must go there sometime.

Ha. Looking at the grottoes has reminded me of Alain Delon in the yellow Rolls Royce....must get some sleep.

Well the comb jellies weren't exactly IN the grottoes but not too far. I've visited the grottoes several times before but didn't get the chance to actually dive in them. Diving in the grottoes is tricky because there's two things in play. One is weather, and the other is security. Because it is right on the border with Lebanon, there are many times where visiting the site is allowed but due to intelligence diving is not, because Hezbollah divers constantly look for ways to turn that into a really bad situation. So you need both weather to be permitting and that to be in synch, and the one day I had a dive booked there weather was fine but they wouldn't let us for security reasons. Not sure what kind of info they had that day but yeah...didn't happen.

Actually one of the pics we ended up sending for my paperwork of my wife and I together was at the Grottoes lol

Too bad about not getting to dive...hezbollah divers sound kinda exciting-lol. Yeah, my mother spent a year on a kibbutz, but I think it was one further south, near the border. Sometimes the guys on the other side of the fence would take potshots at them while they were picking oranges, just for kicks. She really loved the scenery.

Further south near the border are you talking in the south like the gaza border? Because up north I believe rosh hanikra is as close as you get to Lebanon.

As I keep repeating, there is a puffiness to fat American s that doesn't exist with fat Europeans, Japanese etc. In American women it collects around the butt. I have seen skinny women with quite large butts compared to their European/Japanese counterparts.

Repeat,.. Food chain is screwed in the States.

If you have lived outside of N/s America you will be more aware of this phenomena....good night.

you seem to spend a fair amount of time checking out butts :)

The content available on a site dedicated to bringing folks to America should not be promoting racial discord, euro-supremacy, discrimination based on religion , exclusion of groups from immigration based on where they were born, disenfranchisement of voters rights based on how they might vote.
