I-134 - Recent pay stubs?

Apologies if this has been covered already but I haven't the patience to sift through hundreds of related topics and threads.

Regarding the I-134 requiring two or three of "your most recent pay stubs"......

Does this mean that when you present the evidence at the interview you need the most recent pay stubs, or can they be from within the last few months?

I ask because my fiance and I are using a co-sponsor and if we were to use his most recent pay stubs he would need to forward copies of these to me at the very last minute for my interview. So I'm picturing myself potentially receiving them and printing copies the same week as my interview or thereabouts.

A lot of what I've read so far suggests that all this evidence can be compiled well in advance of the interview, which suggests to me I don't need the most absolute recent stubs, so I'd just like a little clarification from experienced members.

Yea a couple months is ok. I gave my fiancé paystub's on October and he interviewed in December.

London is real easy on the I-134. A few months old is fine. Scanned/e-mailed last minute is fine.

If you have a letter from the employer or the 2015 tax return, they would accept either of those. It doesn't have to be all three. Forget bank statements unless their income is insufficient and you need to show they have assets. Real easy.

Hi guys..my fiance found out that the I-134 is obsolete..Do you know if this is true? Its suposed to be a form called I- 864.

As far as I know, for the K-1 process they use the I-134; the form is still showing up on the USCIS website with a note saying it's expired but can continue to be used.

The I-864 is what they ask for at the AOS stage.

Is it that the embassy in the beneficiary's country has different requirements or is requesting the I-864? I mean eventually they do ask for the I-864 when you AOS so I personally don't see why they don't ask for that one from the get go lol

For a K1:

Embassy needs I-134 for the visa process

After marriage, when you apply for the greencard, it will be the I-864.

For IR1/CR1 spouse visas:

Embassy needs the I-864

They do not apply for a greencard once in the U.S. They get one automatically.
