Hi i'm a US citizen NVC completed the process of my case on the 21st of January 2016 and they sent it to the embassy in Amman Jordan to have an interview for my wife CR-1 and now its 4/18/2016 and i have no idea where my case stands

as of now ,i tried calling NVC but all they said you have to wait it could be a month or a year .....also i got the unhelpful 60 days note .

my question is this the normal process ? or its just in Jordan ?

The petitioner is a US citizen correct. Just trying to make sure the visa category. Jordan is hardly any wait. All the Jordan folk on my list with January through March CC already have interviews.

They wouldn't have set your case to embassy unless you requested a expedite than its sent. You need to call NVC to get exactly why its taking so long why would they say "a month or a year" when the wait is less than 30 days for Jordan. Call NVC Today.

I am using Assets only for I864. I got Checklist to have an additional sponsor and bring I864 to interview.

Okay what do you need help with? Did you clearly show the assets in the petitioners account that equals 3 time the household size income?

Do you have a joint sponsor lined up?

Good news is you have case compete and will just needed to bring updated info to interview. So what date is the letter so I can add you to spreadsheet.

My wife can't find her 2013 tax paper, Wat can she do instead?

Easy go to irs.gov and order a t2013 tax transcript. Might as well get 2014 and 2015 while you are at it.

My assets is more than US$ 100,000. I was panic when I saw the checklist from NVC . I called NVC. They said it was just a suggestion ,my case was completed at NVC .So nothing will be changed. So I asked my friend to be a joint sponsor but I will only get her help if interviewer say we need a joint sponsor. The decision will be up to the US Embassy.

What is the validity period of a Police Clearance certificate in Pakistan? I got mine in the last week of November. If I get a June interview would my certificate be still valid or would I need a new one?

Ok so I just got off the phone with a NVC agent who told me even though I can't log in and that the issue was reported, she suggest I wait a day or two more before sending in a check and she also took the time to add my wife as my agent.. so I suggest that you call and choose your agent!

I just called NVC to add my agent and they told be I would have to fill the form out. They wouldn't take my details.

1st Scan Date 02/16/2016 Both I-864 Package and AOS package turned in with all civil documents

2nd Scan Date 02/19/2016 Update I-864 application received again to cover mistake of unchecked box

3rd Scan Date 03/22/2016 NADRA (Like a Birth Certificate) received again because they claim they didn't have and it was included in the package mailed on 02/16/2016

Completed Case

STAGE 1: USCIS

12-22-2014 Married

08-21-2015 I-130 package to Chicago Lock-box.

08-24-2015 NOA1

01-13-2016 NOA2 Approved. (142 days after NOA1)

01-20-2016 USCIS emailed me and text me Sent to NVC

STAGE 2: NVC

01-26-2016 NVC received our case (13 days after NOA1 approved)

02-13-2016 Mailed AOS & IV to NVC

02-16-2016 1^st Scan Date

02-16-2016 Mailed corrected AOS I-864EZ

02-19-2016 2^nd Scan Date

02-26-2016 DS 260 Completed

03-16-2016 Emailed Checklist (dated 06 July 2015---prior to filing USCIS Petition—False Checklist in my opinion) for Birth Certified (was included with papers submitted 02/13/2016) Escalated to Supervisor because it was included in the IV paperwork (two separate folders for Petitioner & Beneficiary (Everything tabbed (Red for petitioner and Blue for Beneficiary), coversheet explaining everything in each folder) Called about the Checklist date which is prior to petition filed. Representative at NVC couldn’t explain.

03-17-2016 Returned email back to ASKNVC regarding the date of 06July2015 checklist date

03-17-2016 Mailed NADRA again (1^st Class, Certified Return/Receipt)

03-21-2016 NADRA received and still being reviewed by a supervisor in the Review Dept.

03-22-2016 Received ASKNVC email to request on 03-17-2016 stating they are still waiting on civil documents (no specific mention of the Birth Certified like previously requested on 03-16-2016)

04-18-2016 See 3rd N/A on the U.S. Department of State Website. N/As (Affidavit of Support Fee, Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence & Civil Documents) Called and confirmed with NVC

(PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!) Now waiting on being scheduled for Interview.
