01-26-2016 NVC received our case (13 days after NOA1 approved)

02-13-2016 Mailed AOS & IV to NVC

02-16-2016 1^st Scan Date

02-16-2016 Mailed corrected AOS I-864EZ

02-19-2016 2^nd Scan Date

02-26-2016 DS 260 Completed

03-16-2016 Emailed Checklist (dated 06 July 2015---prior to filing USCIS Petition—False Checklist in my opinion) for Birth Certified (was included with papers submitted 02/13/2016) Escalated to Supervisor because it was included in the IV paperwork (two separate folders for Petitioner & Beneficiary (Everything tabbed (Red for petitioner and Blue for Beneficiary), coversheet explaining everything in each folder) Called about the Checklist date which is prior to petition filed. Representative at NVC couldn’t explain.

03-17-2016 Returned email back to ASKNVC regarding the date of 06July2015 checklist date

03-17-2016 Mailed NADRA again (1^st Class, Certified Return/Receipt)

03-21-2016 NADRA received and still being reviewed by a supervisor in the Review Dept.

03-22-2016 Received ASKNVC email to request on 03-17-2016 stating they are still waiting on civil documents (no specific mention of the Birth Certified like previously requested on 03-16-2016)

04-18-2016 See 3rd N/A on the U.S. Department of State Website. N/As (Affidavit of Support Fee, Affidavit of Support Documents & Financial Evidence & Civil Documents) Called and confirmed with NVC

(PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!) Now waiting on being scheduled for Interview.

STAGE 3: Embassy/Consulate

I called. got ANOTHER checklist. for Liberia and Nigeria PCC. I had to explain to them again that they shouldn't have been check listed and explain to them what's on their own website. it's now under supervisor review and the person I spoke with said she went and sat with a supervisor to explain my issue and to give her time to review my actual case file. she said to call and check back mid next week. I guess i'm stuck waiting again. I can't believe my luck!

Apparently the first supervisor lied when she told me she would put a note in the system that I shouldn't have been checklisted for those two documents. cause neither person I spoke with today saw anything about it other than her sending my case back to Document Review department for re-review.

By the way, I also learned that by "scanning" our documents...they are not actually scanning all our documents. They simply scan the bar code and notify the system that our documents have been received. then they put the documents aside to be matched up with the actual file and wait for review.

Yeah, i hope the supervisor will get it right this time. They better have your case flagged with high importance or something!

Still trying to get through to NVC but no luck yet. I guess it might be a very late celebration once i finally get someone on the phone but thank you

Hi i'm a US citizen NVC completed the process of my case on the 21st of January 2016 and they sent it to the embassy in Amman Jordan to have an interview for my wife CR-1 and now its 4/18/2016 and i have no idea where my case stands

as of now ,i tried calling NVC but all they said you have to wait it could be a month or a year .....also i got the unhelpful 60 days note .

my question is this the normal process ? or its just in Jordan ?

It´s official - just got thru to NVC and spoke to a very nice lady named Daphne: Our Case is COMPLETE :joy:

Could not have done it without the help of the people in this forum so here´s a big THANK YOU to everyone who keeps posting tips and advice on here.

I am really sorry to hear the bad news.

The problem is the half a** trained contract personnel that when they find something out of ordinary like your husbands PCC, do not know what to do and for laziness do not check their own rules and issue a checklist, putting the burden on the applicant.

The only encouragement I can give you is to be persistent with phone calls making sure they are really processing your case.

I am so sorry to hear about another Checklist. That is definitely unprofessional. I hope they can get it straight and not allow so many people to touch your case because I think that is where the breakdown occurs which warrants a checklist that is inaccurate. I am definitely praying for you and your hubby to have a closed case soon.

Congrats to everyone who received a closed case. Best wishes to the rest still waiting. Praying you receive a closed case soon. The agony of waiting is so exhausting.

Thanks LoveinGhana, finally made it. Honestly, everyone I called NVC daily and told them I would because I knew my husband's NADRA was there along with all the other paperwork. However, the representative asked me to send in again. Once they received the mail again they stopped looking for the original mail and gave us another 30 days. Not fair. So I called them daily to check the status and ensure the only thing they needed was the NADRA (verification of Birth Like a Birth Certificate).

Ok so I just got off the phone with a NVC agent who told me even though I can't log in and that the issue was reported, she suggest I wait a day or two more before sending in a check and she also took the time to add my wife as my agent.. so I suggest that you call and choose your agent!

I am using Assets only for I864. I got Checklist to have an additional sponsor and bring I864 to interview.
