Question for those who filed out the I-864 using the online PDF form. Some areas would not allow to enter N/A or if it was asking for a number you can't type NONE or N/A have people been leaving these things blank. I thought I read not to leave any blanks. Even the instruction say not to. I thought about printing in by hand but afraid the bar coded on bottom then will be not matching up.....Any advice?[/quote

I hand wrote the N/As.

Do not leave the pages for extra entries blank. That is a guarantee checklist.

Thank God. I just spoke with a very nice agent at NVC. She confirmed that our case was cc yesterday 4/14/16. Scan date 3/18/16. I am so happy right now can't wait to tell my husband about the good news. I asked her about interview scheduling for Lagos in May and she said there is still space to keep calling to check on interview date. Good luck to everyone still waiting cc.

My case was complete at nvc few days ago. Whats next?? How do I know when is my interview date? Thanks in advance

I was actually wondering about that too. I will probably try to convert it to an image (Screen Print or some utility), fill that in manually in Paint or something and then convert back to PDF with CutePDF.

Do you think that will effect the bar code on bottom of each page. In the instructions it says that the information is coded as you fill in each line on each page. Maybe they don't use that. Not sure? Even the immigrant telephone question only allows for 10 numbers.

Once you've filled in everything, print it out and hand write N/A don't leave anything blank on any of the pages including the Extra page at the end. don't forget it needs your actual wet signature...not stamped or typed. you will get checklisted if you stamp or type it in.

I have question about citizenship certificate. I dont know if this is right place to ask question or not. I hope someone will help me.

I have a sponsor who is US citizen by birth and he doesnt have any naturalization certificate. But NVC ask the naturalization certificate. He does have birth certificate. Can i just send the copy of birth certifiacte to NVC?

Yea, a copy of his birth certificate should be fine since he's a US born citizen.

Just getting word that our application was approved in Nebraska and now sent to Dept of State. God continue to be good and gracious to us with your favor!

I need to try that one - I've seen that in one of the guides, too. I hate Adobe so much!

On those who just got NVC case #'s like myself who get "The Database Error" when trying to login, I also called and talked to someone and they said if you got your letter you definitely should be able to login. They're escalating that issue as well, so hopefully if enough of the agents escalate it, they'll actually fix it! I'm guessing it's affecting anyone with a 600+ Julian Date (i.e. case # received after April 9th). If your case # is like ABC2016XXXYYY where XXX >= 600, you're probably having this issue. If you have a case # like that and you're NOT getting an error, let me know!

My documents were scanned today. It feels so good to have a scan date! Finally a light at the end of the tunnel, and I don't think it's a train. The representative told me to wait 35 days, so it seems like they are keeping good speed! (Unless he is just bad at saying the difference between 35 and 45...)

Quick question:

After I submit DS-260, all documents required should I send them via e-mail or regular mail to NVC? And is this opsional or they chose what way you should send?
