Hello guys,

I'm new at NVC stage. I've done first two steps, Choose of agent and AOS fee, status updated yesterday as PAID. Now I'm trying to pay dhe IV fee but I can't see any invoce. Should I wait for another IIN? Thanks in advance :)

The IV fee will be invoiced once the DS-261 is reviewed and that unlocks the IV fee. Call NVC to have them review with you on phone. About 2 days later IV fee should be there. Call NVC.

Hey all, just joining this thread. My first scan date was Jan. 27, 2016 and then received a checklist on March 2, 2016. Second scan date is March 16, 2016 so now it's almost 30 days so still waiting to see if they reviewed my documents....waiting for case complete...

Congrats to all that are on to the embassy phase. One of my friends wife had an interview last week but didn't receive the visa yet because his income wasn't consistent.

Just called nvc... They said they're waiting for their supervisor for final review. Tell me to wait for another 42 days......... Does it usually take that long?????

Wait, what? 31 days and now 42 more because of a supervisor review? Never heard of that before... Sorry to hear that ?

They said they received my package for my checklist, but they did not send out the checklist for them to review..... Which means my case was sitting there not being reviewed for a month.

What does that mean "did not send out the checklist for them to review?" they never sent the checklist and your documents to an agent to review? Whatever the excuse maybe that's horrible!!! I can't believe they wasted a month of your time like that. Unfortunately, it does reset the clock to zero. They always give the maximum amount of time needed for anything. When I asked about SR the agents kept telling me it can take anywhere from 2 days up to 42 days.

At this point, I have to believe that everything is happening the way it is for a reason. Maybe one day we will learn what that is. I'm sorry you have to go through this. :( Wishing you a quick SR and CC.
