It's realistic. If you already have your documents, it's possible to turn in everything within a week or so after receiving your Case and IIN. Check out my timeline in my signature.

Just saw it. Amazing. You got your case number in 8 days!! That gives me hope. My case was received yesterday at nvc so hopefully next week i can get my case number.

BACKGROUND

Lived in DR since I was 7 until 16.

September 12th, 2015 - I-130 Packet sent via FedEx
September 15th, 2015 - I-130 Packet Delivered by FedEx ( Delivery Notification signed by J. Chyba)

September 15th, 2015 - Priority Date (Routed to Nebraska Service Center)

September 17th, 2015 - NOA1 email and text received from USCIS. :)

March 11th, 2016 - Approval date ( routed to NVC) :dancing:

March 12th, 2016 - NOA2email and text received from USCIS.

March 24th, 2016 - Text n email ( Case sent to NVC for processing)

NVC

March 31st, 2016 - Case received at NVC ( called to confirm)

April 8th, 2016 - Case # and Invoice # Assigned ( 8 Days from NVC receiving)

April 11th, 2016 - Choice of Agent Completed. DS-261, Paid AOS Fee

April 12th, 2016 - AOS shows 'Paid", IV bill Generated and Paid.

April 14th, 2016 - IV Fee showed as Paid. IV App unlocked.

April 15th, 2016 - IV Application DS 260 completed and submitted

May 20th, 2016 - AOS and IV Docs sent to NVC via 2-day Delivery :dancing:

May 23, 2016 - Packet received by NVC, Notification from USPS confirmed.

May 23, 2016 - SCAN DATE ( received email from NVC)

May 31, 2016 - CASE COMPLETE ( confirmed via phone) 8 days from scan day! Amazing :wow:

June 7, 2016 - Case complete Email Received. Exactly 7 Days after actual CC.

June 27, 2016 - Interview scheduled!!!!!!!! :dancing:

July 18, 2016- VAC and Medical Appointment

August 3rd, 2016 - Interview Date

I called yet again about my case, and the nice girl who answered (Anna) said she would go speak with the Supervisor who requested my case be reviewed again. After a couple of minutes on hold said the supervisor did request my file to be reviewed again and how quickly that happens depends on when they are able to get my case file from one building to another and be reviewed. sometimes they do it fast and other times it's slow. (which is always my luck) the last two weeks I've been told my case is with the document review department.....now it's still in process.

I am trying to stay positive, but I may have started going into tears when I was talking with her. :cry:

Lord help me!

yup! 5 business day! :) I started calling 3 days after they confirmed receiving my petition from USCIS....called everyday. When I called on February 8th, they had just finished assigning my case number and Invoice Identification Number.

Hey TMR,

My case got reviewed exactly 30 days after my 2nd checklist.....so I'd safely say they aren't doing the whole 30-45 days bit that has every1 in a quandary! So you should get yours by this coming Monday! :D

Hoping for a May interview.....I didn't just go along with the 3 N/As...I called them also and got thru without a waiting time! I was told by the very nice Katie that my case (and my kids' cases) were complete and all docs were legit and they were in the process of setting up an interview in my country's embassy....I'd say that is a wonderful 1st Anniversary present! :dancing:

Hey,

Just to update that my case got completed today...30 days exactly after I sent in my checklisted docs and NVC scanned them in on Mar 3rd. So there is still hope for a shorter time for your daughter's petition....just do not wait too long to send it in if you haven't already.
