Hello,

All y'all who got their dates.... Congrat.

DWheels, congratulations on your big day..

I am soo frustrated by now, Just called NVC and all what I hear is, we don't have dates as of now.

My wife went for her check up and the doctor said "you baby is 2 weeks ahead"

I WANA BE WITH HER. :crying:

Doctor said the date will still be June 30th for now. I am missing all of it, the most important part of our life.

I have no clue what has to be done now. I wish, hope and pray that I get my interview done and I be the first one to hold my baby. :cry:

Hey RomFad,

Interview dates should be coming out soon so just keep calling. I know how important this is and there's nothing that God can't make happen. Just be encouraged and keep repeating and believing that YOU WILL be with your wife for the delivery. Nothing impossible to those that believe ;)

hi Dwheels76, hope your husband is feel much better today?wish you and husband GOOD LUCK with ur interview tomorrow. Have been calling for days now still can't get through...

Mrsgbovo what number did you call? I called (011 234) 1 440 6218 and after answering the prompts I got through to someone. I was told that the embassy would email us once the visa is ready for pickup. Have you or your husband received an email?

The embassy called my husband today. The woman forgot to collect a copy of his birth certificate during the interview so he emailed a copy over to them. So we're going to wait a little longer assuming this may cause a delay.

They looked you up on Facebook? I Didn't know they did things like that.

Yea, the embassy in Nigeria does that. We weren't asked for our facebook accounts, maybe it depends on the officer, but others have reported being asked during the interview.

Dont think the birth certificate Wil delay the pickup date..just keep calling for update

Yes and it's an old account. I gave them my new accounts and showed them our pics on there. Now I will have to show my family is on it I guess. I updated the pic and changed me to my new married date when I went in to get admin privilege in old groups. When I put the marriage I put 2005 not 2015 cause I was doing it quickly. The month and date were correct just I saw the 5 and didn't double check. I can't link my husband cause he is linked to the one I have used for luke 3 years.... sigh. Just gonna give them what they ask and pray

1/15/2016 Called NVC and got case/invoice number logged into this site to pay fees, pick agent -> https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx 1/15/2016 picked agent DS-261

1/18/2016 paid aos fee

1/28/2016 review 261 to get iv fee unlocked ( unlocked once I did review,was taking to long)

2/1/ 2016 sent AOS & IV packets together to nvc while I waited for iv fee to open to save time.

2/4/2016 paid IV Fee and waited to do ds260

2/3/2016 nvc received aos and iv packets(scan date)

2/7/2016 ds260 completed and now waiting for cc

Found a new co-sponsor

Handed in aos sept 11th

Set 18th another update

Sept 28th update and embassy called

SEPT 29TH ISSUED FINALLY

OCT 2nd visa in hand

POE October 22nd 2016

Good afternoon....I have a quick question. Wasn't their an informational block at the beginning of the thread that outlined what the various status's are at the NVC? I can't recall what "Ready" meant..anyone can point me in the direction of that information. Tried the wiki but nothing returned

Also, I when I noticed the status change, I also noticed that the "..foreign chargeability.." was now there..as well as the "current processing site" has now been updated.
