Hello all,

I just have few question as i am preparing my wife for the interview.

1. Can someone please show me the link where i can i confirm if her package was received by her embassy? I try to look up that post but i was not able to find it.

2. Our interview is exactly an month away and she is yet to receive the interview letter in mail. Can she print one and bring that as an confirmation letter to the interview or does she needs to have the original letter which she receives in the mail.

Much appreciated your help in advance.

When your Visa status changes to READY that's when the embassy has it

I don't know what you mean "Can she print one and bring that as an confirmation letter?" Print one what?

If you were assigned interview by NVC and its more than a week call them and tell them to resend. People have been getting within 1 to 2 days.

Be sure to schedule her bio-metrics appointment.

No it's not stated on the Interview letter. The choice is yours and its up to you to find out the information.

Click on portals at top of page and then go to Consulate Information all the information about the two clinics are there.

My husband even posted about his experience in a post about Children's.

My wife's interview was today. Took a little time (they had additional questions before her interview, and took her longer to get to the interview), but told her she was approved and to expect her Passport back in a week

Hello Guys

I am waiting for my interview date, my case was closed March 31, Last week call NVC but they told me that they still waiting for the Embassy, today I check the Immigrant Visa Summary page, and I noticed that now they add a new line, saying the name of my country (Argentina) I didn´t see this line before, I was trying to call NVC today Monday and the machine allways tell me to call in another time.

Anybody knows if this line means something??

Yes it means that's the country of Visa issuance. NVC has been upgrading their site . Like on the Visa Status check age the country box is there to select.

Just hang on for June scheduling.

Yours says NVC. So it's just another way of knowing who has your case is all.

I am looking for some assistance with my wife's case. She has an interview scheduled on 04/27/2016 in Islamabad, Pakistan. I am curious to know how long after the interview does she get her passport sent back to her? I was born in the US, does that make a difference? I am trying to book their flight as quickly as possible after the interview, as I plan on doing a wedding reception here in the states. Is there any way to expedite the process for the passport with visa being sent. I apologize if this is the wrong thread, but I barely use this forum, and I am a little confused on how to navigate through here. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

For Pakistan if there's no lengthy AP it takes. Your wife can always ask if she can get Visa faster if she can gie good reason, They rarely unless emergency expedite. If at all. Don;t do anything about tickets until she has Visa in hand.

Visa issued same day? No If not whats the waiting period? if ur approved anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks .

Hi, I'm having my interview in Paris on the 25th of May and people been saying the the passport comes back after 7-10 days after approval. I thought it was the same for every embassy ?

Hope you'll get approve and get your passport asap.

Awwww thank you that's so sweet. My husband yesterday got violently ill. Malaria ya'll can you believe it and a stomach flu that's vicious. And us flying to Lagos tomorrow morning will be the first time on a plane for him. Lord have mercy.

My dress was delivered yesterday. I must say I look smashing. hehe
