Yay Congratulations!!

My wife had interview on Friday at 7:30 am at Mumbai Embassy, it went well and she got approved!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

will post Mumbai embassy review soon.....

Thanks Visajourney for all the support., special Thanks to Dwheels76...

Congratulations!!

He's been Approved!! Big sigh of relief! And we didn't need the envelope or postage in the end, since we'd registered with the CSC beforehand. Wow! What a day. I'm kinda in shock. But very very happy.

I thought we were gonna have to pay another fee there, but we didnt. I presume the only fee left is the Greencard one we do online?

Woohoo Congratulations!! I'm so happy to see all the approvals flying on this thread! It's reassuring.

I'm telling you. When assigned we had 64 days to wait. It has flown by I can't believe it. I will be happy when we are done next Thursday to start moving forward. You know how it is you want to buy your plane tickets get on with life but you still holding your breathe.

Ya'll I am about to lose my mind I swear. Why the doubt and anxiety. OMG. Lagos why you vex me so o.

Dwheels I know how you feel, we'll get through this together. 2 days left to go for us and I'm experiencing so many different emotions  . Anxiety for sure and doubt is creeping in as well, but each time it does I'm doing my best to cast it down. I keep replaying how I think the interview will go in my head (even though we have no idea what they will ask lol). My husband doesn't even want to think about it, I can't blame him. Our file was touched yesterday, hasn't been touched today so I know they're doing their checks.

Forum members please please please pray for us. There's power in unified prayer so please petition heaven on our behalf :innocent: . I'd be very grateful. This is our second rodeo at the Lagos embassy (our K1 was denied back in 2014 for lack of evidence) and although we're way more prepared this time around I'm still a bit apprehensive. This is a blessed thread and I try and keep that in mind each day that passes.

I'm going crazy guys!!! :help: My scan date is March 21, 2016 and I have been checking the CEAC site almost every 30 minutes to an hour all day for my third N/A. I have seen people with my same scan date get their third N/A today and I have seen people with scan dates after mine get their third N/A too! I called NVC and no update. I'm so anxious, I'm ready to move on. I'm on day 29 so I know I should keep waiting, but seeing other people post about N/As is giving me so much hope for mine. I would appreciate any prayers and support. We're all in this together.

For anyone who is interested, I've submitted a review of our interview experience today:

We arrived at the consulate at 12:50pm for appt at 1:00pm. I expected to be turned away like a lot of other spouses and fiances seem to have been in the reviews before this one. Surprisingly, they allowed me to attend the interview with him, and be a part of the whole process at every window. Everyone working there was very friendly and chatty. When we arrived, we were called to one of the windows to check in, and then told to sit down. Then we were called up to another window to submit original and copy documents to a woman who asked us a few questions. (Birth cert, marriage cert, affidavits, tax forms, etc.) We were told to sit back down and wait to be called again. I was glad I got to come in with the Husband, because we kept each other company and had a good laugh while we waited, since they take away your phone and all electronics before you arrive. We ended up waiting for nearly 2 hours before we had the actual interview, because there were several others ahead of us in the waiting queue... (a J1, a CR1, and another IR1, who ended up being declined because he was missing a form, the poor lad.)

When we were finally called up to the last window for the actual interview, the consulate officer was really friendly. The first thing he did was compliment us on how well organized we were with all our forms and documents. (THANK YOU VJ!) He said the amount of people that show up missing documents or not having things properly filled out was quite a lot, so it was nice to work with our file. He asked us about how we met, what our plans were up arrival to the US and where we plan to live, how our sponsor was related to us, about our kids, and what Husband plans to do for work.
He then made a few jokes. We had a bit of small talk. Over all, the whole process was super easy and nice. He said, "Congratulations! You have been Approved!" at which point, my husband said, "THANK YOU SO MUCH!" and gave me a big kiss. HAHA!
Because I registered with CSC website beforehand via the link that was sent to us through email by the Embassy back when the interview date was assigned, we did not need to pay extra for postage or submit the A3 envelope. I designated for us to collect the visa/passport from our local DPD courier, which the consulate officer said should be available to collect within 10 days.
All in all, the whole day was a very positive one. Now our real adventure begins!!

What is the validity period of a Police Clearance certificate in Pakistan? I got mine in the last week of November. If I get a June interview would my certificate be still valid or would I need a new one?

Police certs are valid for 1yr with the visa process (from the moment it is dated/stamped).
