Just got off the phone with Kara from NVC....was inquiring on any available updates on my kids and my case....thinking in my head that they haven't done a thing.....when (low and behold) Kara said "They actually have you scheduled for an interview on May 23 @ 9am."

I shouted with joy and was like "Are you serious???!!" and she was like "Yes ma'am. They actually did the scheduling this afternoon." (trying to maintain her professional composure...lol) Then she confirmed that they have the same date and time for my kids...so my kids and I have our interviews at Port of Spain embassy!

Now to finally de-stress (yea right! :no:) and get cracking with putting my evidence together in the folders! My God IS an awesome God!!!!!! :dancing::dance::yes::D

is it possible to get interview date rescheduled to a more recent date by requesting nvc?

Nope. You now have to deal with the embassy. Keep checking your status to change to READY. Once it does means embassy has it and talk to them about it.

the status does say READY..

does that means embassy got the case?

and for requesting any rescheduling have to call embassy? right?

I don't know the vest way to reach your embassy I would think this request is by email. Yes READY means its ay the embassy.

Finally the passport is ready for pickup :) have been waiting to post the consulate revew when my husband has visa in hand. The advice I give to anyone is just be authentic-be true. My husband said that the interview there in morocco is truly your personal experience. He also advised never to try as he did and pull an overnight on the train and go straight to the interview. Lol everyone advised him that the CO was very interested in dates...and he was ready and rehearsed and she saw right through that so she changed her method.

Mohamed and I have known each other now for 5 and a half years and been married two and a half of those. We are very excited that finally we can move to the next stage of life together here in America. I wish everyone here the best of luck as they journey forward. This truly is a path of diligence, patience and tenacity.

Thank you everyone for your support and advice along the journey.

This tax transcript is making me loopy (or it could the aftermath of walking into a door yesterday)...trying to stay consistent in what I provided to NVC and whats in the folder for the interview but the "account transcript" has yet to arrive. What I have on hand is the "return transcript." Does it matter which is provided? I'm ready to close this folder and get it in the mail.

lol..the lawyer told me to request our more recent transcript last week,which I got today. Hes been doing this for years.We sent the transcript to the NVC for the AOS package last year too,just bringing the most recent one 2015, and a copy of the ones I sent in.Your Transcript should do. They want the "return" transcript. It lists every dollar amount on your 1040 line-by-line. That's what they want to see.
