GLORY to GOD... My husband had his interview today at US consulate Lagos and he was APPROVED... Was told to pickup his VISA in 15days..Will write review later... NOTE: VO Collected his FACEBOOK info..

Woohoo Congratulations!! So glad to hear good news coming out of Lagos.

If you don't mind me asking, did he tell the officer that you both communicated through Facebook? Just wondering what prompted him to ask for the Facebook info...

Felt someone summons me...

Alright Hansona--- listen, there are NO negative thoughts allowed. You are and have been well equipped for this and this will work out in your favor!!! You can't put someone else's denial on your case because your case is not theirs (vise versa). Speak LIFE into this thang!!!

NOW that we've gotten that out of the way....here's a funny (completely off subject on purpose):

Today I was walking to another department at work...texting and walking and ran straight into a door :rofl:

Lesson: NO TEXTING and WALKING for me

Lesson: Be present in the moment

Denial is not your moment...as far as I know, as it stands today--HELL we are all APPROVED! The rest is just formality...AMEN

*taking my own advice

I second what dwheels said! Because when hubby had his interview March 3rd Co did not request evidence cuz I front loaded all evidence at USCIS and NVC stage. Co only requested medical and passport all original documents were submitted at NVC hubby had copies. CO did not ask of anything. CO asked him abt Four questions and his interview was done. He asked Co if visa was denial Co said no. They need to do some check in the U.S of A. Guess it's because husband has very common first n last name. Hansona, just like what dwheels said decision is made before the interview. Just keep the faith all will be well.

As long as 2 agree, so shall it be!!!!

My wife had interview today at 8 am in mumbai and medical yesterday at 8 am. Both went well and got approved!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing:

Overall generic questions, where I live, where I work but a few questions around when I became a US citizen and what visa did I come to US on? But overall it was a really short straightforward interview. They did not ask for more pictures or an album since we submitted pictures with the petition.

Thanks Visajourney for all the support.

Congratulations!! :)

I attended the interview with my husband at the Jamaican Embassy on 12 April. He was approved. Pretty straight forward interview. Checked the ceac website today and it says your visa was printed and issued. Thought that was pretty quick. Questions asked: How did we meet? Why did we get married at RGB? How old are his children? Are you nervous about moving? The CO asked both of us questions and it really was like a regular conversation. They did forget to obtain the original police certificate, and I asked did they need the original, he said yes and took it. I also asked were they going to keep the original marriage license and birth certificate and he stamped a copy that was in the file and gave us back the original. I also asked if they wanted the updated I-864 documents for 2015 and he said no. So the big file I brought with relationship information was not needed, but glad I had it just in case. The only problem we had, was when we entered and I had a chap stick in my purse and I had to leave the facility, dispose it and stand in line again to reenter the building. We arrive around 7:15 am and we were out by 10:30 am. I am so thankful that I found this site, it was filled with so much information and I really believe that is why we got through without RFEs through the entire process. It was a long process, but now we are closing in on the long stretch. Our two year anniversary is at the of June, so we are thinking of doing the POE then, so that he can get a 10 year green card vs. a 2 year green card.

Congratulations to you and your hubby!! :)
