Ok...on paper filed as well but I requested via the IRS website...I will call to request another one.

Last year, I tried to order mine through the IRS site. I couldn't get through. So I decided to use the phone. If you call, you should get yours sooner.

So this just crossed my mind...since me and my kids have case complete and NVC says they are "trying" to get 3 of us interviews on the same date and time (it's a given, one would think ) my question is this:

My husband and father inlaw did 3 separate i864 and i864a respectively for me and my 2 kids. Would I need 3 separate set of tax documents...or just 1 set for the interview?

Just to clear something up I'm not sure about...once you get the sealed packet back post-interview, the passport isn't in the packet, right?

I have a trip to Paris a few weeks after the interview, before I will enter the USA, so obviously a sealed passport would be no good. In addition, I guess it wouldn't be possible to check-in for a flight if the passport was sealed away!

Well...guess what..going through all my paperwork, it appears that I do actually have it but it's the tax return transcript, which is not what I supplied to the NVC (account transcript). I did call and requested another copy after reading your post...so maybe I will get it soon.
