lol, your husband is funny. I think deep down he wants to hear the countdown. I bet you if you stopped telling him the countdown (19 days for you, 12 for me ;)) he'd still ask for it.

Today my husband booked his flight for Lagos. Will be leaving next Thurs, the 14th to arrive in Lagos that evening. He'll be going for medicals next Friday the 15th and should hopefully be done and have medicals in hand by the following Tuesday the 19th. We wanted to leave an extra day in between just in case. Can't believe the time is almost here! :D

He's going to Children's Place right?

Then yes results will be ready tuesday.

My husband said a week before interview he wanted to go over the interview folders and where everything is.

I just can't believe it's already friday. This week is a blurr.

But I am confident all will be no wahala.

I even wrote up my budget I am paying monthly now. He about passed out.

His rent a year won't Cover my rent a month. Woooo weeeee.:D

2.8 weeks will absolutely fly by!!! So you have your t-shirts made yet!!??

Nooo more paperwork. I am going to have to read up on this AOS since I don't really know what is involved. At least we will have 9-10 months of paperwork break before it all begins again.

Just paid hubby's green card fee, now we only have the $120 border fee next Thursday at POE. Our wallet is going to be happier too!! :goofy:

Cosmos - you don't really mean AOS, do you? I think you mean ROC - which is a totally different thing. And DON'T be lulled into thinking you have a 9-10 month break for paperwork. You need to start collecting data from your marriage NOW. I had a plastic expando file, and I put plane tickets, bank statements, cards and letters addressed to both of us...pictures of us with family - and I've been collecting it now for TWO YEARS!

We file for ROC within the next two weeks. It would have been impossible if I hadn't been collecting things along the way...

Yes Sukie I mean ROC, I always called it AOS but it is in fact ROC. All our paperwork is collected and still being collected, every document over the last 2 years until present day..lol it was called our interview mega accordion folder! My husband and I said we would file our ROC in January, that is four months before our 2nd wedding anniversary. That gives us 9 months of no paperwork (meaning Immigration filing paperwork). :)

My husband and I had a long convo about FB before our interview because a member told me that people can get denied for not having FB pictures, like FB validates your relationship in some way. My husband and I aren't even friends on social media because we feel it actually ruins relationships. With that being said, we pretty much ignored the rumors about FB and immigration. Our CO never even asked us for any proof what so ever. No pictures, travel documents, chat logs etc. We did have though over over 2 years of documentation with us as "proof", just encase. You guys will do great! :)
