Like Dwheels76 said in a previous post. Feel like everything I researched flew out of my mind and I'm all over the place. Lol. Have quiet a few stuff printed out but don't know what is enough. Have around 66 pictures out so far but I think that is a little while everyone else (family) is saying that's more than enough. So confused. I know the interview is short but I rather have more than enough evidence and them not look through it all rather than too little and have them ask "is that it?"Can someone who did their interview already in Jamaica give me an idea of a good number of pictures and convo history to carry?is know every case varies but I feel like my brain left my body lol

Alright now..do we need to put a picture of your brain on a milk carton under "missing"? Just kidding. Sometimes it's best to step away from things, decompress and come back to it with a fresh set of eyes. Disclaimer: I am by far not the expert in these matters and there may be some others here that can provide a more definitive answer for you but here goes by 2cents:

Pictures - I recall reading this in the lovely RFE I received during the USCIS phase and it may be beneficial here. You want pictures that span the relationship (to include the ones submitted then) in some type of date order (maybe if the date is not on the actual print..you could write the date and where you all were when the picture was taken)

Other supporting documentation (chat logs, phone records, wire transactions, etc) - this should be a continuation of where you left off when you submitted the information to USCIS. Make sense?

So, if you maintained folders for USCIS (let's call this chapter/folder 1), NVC ( chapter/folder 2) and interview (chapter 3/folder 3)..this would folder would be like the "addendum" to chapter 1...And when they are combined it tells your story.

Right or wrong..it sounds good anyways...

In one of the earlier pages on this thread, I believe dwheels made mention of this. Stay cool my friend, it's going to all come together :goofy::goofy: :goofy: Hope I didn't confuse you more :sleepy:

That actually makes a lot of sense. I guess in my mind (or what's left of it,lol) I think of it as a project to be presented and want the CO to say to me that I brought more than enough needed and then some. I want to be top of the class so to speak lol. Providing the proof isn't the problem for me it's the spending of money to get those proof printed on paper. Also we have literally thousands upon thousands of conversation history on Facebook but going back let's say to the very start of our conversation where we first met is extremely difficult because it constantly freezes and lags so we can only go back so far. As for whatsapp conversations. I think it's best using screenshots and then emailing them to myself and printing them whereas my wife thinks it's easier to email the actual conversation from whatsapp and print out the convo log that way but I find it more meaningful to screenshot it. It shows more emotions rather than just the black and white convo logs. If that makes any sense. Bare with me people. Lol Edited by Edissa508

For anyone who did their interviews recently. Is it better to show screenshots of whatsapp conversations or is it better to print out the actual conversation logs?

Printing stuff in color is alot more expensive than printing the black and white but somehow I feel the screenshot conversations are better to show as proof or it doesn't matter? Opinions and advise are greatly appreciated.

We were in Canada but I can tell you what we did and it sufficed.. we weren't asked for any further information. I took a screenshot of a conversation on skype every month and printed it in black and white. I also posted all our pics on fb (made one big private folder so i wouldnt have stuff scattered) and printed em in black and white. Then I referenced them all to my fb with a screenshot of my home page and his home page. I even printed up a few posts, like when I posted about trips and our marriage itself! I made sure to have the comments as part of those because it shows that everyone I know knows we are married and then talks about times we had together or whatever... just normal stuff but it worked fine. It cut waaaay back on cost as I used my office at work to print it all up. We also have a really in depth text based rpg we play and I printed up some of those silly logs the way I did for skype. Then I showed all the bills we have together... like I added him to my phone plan with Verizon like a year and a half ago as they have a lovely lil Canada friends and family plan that was super handy for us to just be able to call when we needed to from work or when we are out and about.... and I had our apartments copy the notes they made from when we got married and I added him to the lease... I had a copy of the lease, plus the lil copy of their notes to put it in the official lease. Then of course we provided affidavits from my kids and his parents and sibling. Thats it. We did nothing else and weren't asked to. Was easy peasy now looking back at it all! You got this... once you are done, you will look back and kinda laugh for stressing over it all!!

Thank you so much. My wife had the same idea about printing comments made by friends and family members about our posts on facebook.Skype may be a problem for me as I forgot my password and had to create a new skype account. My wife should have Skype history saved on her end. She's really good at saving stuff like that.

Flyawayfree would like to also send my congratulations to you and your other half on your approval.

Yeah try not to doubt yourself... I did and it can't be helped I know... But you got this.... We rarely see visa journey people denied thankfully cause compared to non visa journey peeps... We look amazing!!! Seriously... Hubby saw 1 lady get denied who was screaming and hollering but didn't have half the documents she needed (simple stuff... Was a divorce doc, the petitioner birth certificate) Easy stuff we all know to take for sure and another who was stuck in the interview for at least a half hour who was arguing with the interviewer. We know better!! So try hard not to worry.... I just know you will be approved as you are prepared like someone who loves their spouse!!!

I know. We we were assigned on Feb. 24th we had 64 days to interview. It seemed forever. I put the countdown ticker on my phone and here we are now at 21 days and for you 14 days. OMG.

My husband has told me "Stop o telling me how many days, minutes, hours." hehe

He went and bought his outfit for interview. decided we would look to much if we wore matching outfit But my dress is being made anyway. We are saving the matching outfits for May 15th our anniversary party.

We are so ready. If they called and said be there tomorrow we would be ready too go. You hear me Lagos call email we ready. :goofy:

 The daily reminder is good. Otherwise the date could surely sneak up on you.

I'm sure you both will look so fly on your anniversary! Would love to see pics once everything is done :). Will you be celebrating in Houston or Nigeria? My husband has family out in Houston so you never know, we could stop by and celebrate with ya ;) .

Hi Edissa508,

I haven't had my interview yet but I emailed the Whatsapp conversation to myself and printed it out that way, so in black and white. Reason being is because it was pretty long and since there was an option to email and print it out that way I figured it would be more convenient. Looking back now I'm wondering if I should have done screenshots like I did with my Hangout Video calls (no option to email those), especially because I don't want the authenticity of the conversation to come into question and because the screenshot appearance looks better, but I've already submitted them as proof during the NVC stage and sent off a copy to my husband so I've decided to leave things as is. But maybe what you can do is print out the whole conversation in the text format, and probably do a few random screenshots just for validation sake...? Just a suggestion, but maybe others have better advice to share.
