Yes they are packed today!! They changed hubby's appointment from 1030 to 1 already then even for that appointment it took 3 hours. He said it was super busy and crowded today!

I am going to hope that there is a problem. If nothing changes tomorrow I will call! (:

I also heard something in some other forum about the K-1 visas all going thru Montreal now, beginning this month... so there were expected delays upcoming. Heh, we are the first to get in on the fun longer waits... I am not exactly sure what the info was, what I read wasnt clear... so please don't take it as gospel. If you happen to scour the forums and see... remind me too so I too, am not upset if theres a big delay. Exhales. I am so glad this part is done.

Question regarding organizing documents for interview...

Does one need to have most recent (6 mos) pay stubs in addition to the AOS, tax transcripts and W2's?

Question regarding organizing documents for interview...

Here is my advice:

If you have done 2015 taxes and do not have a transcript take: Updated AOS, 1040, W2s, 1099s

If you HAVE done 2015 taxes and have a transcript, take updated AOS, tax transcript (no W2s necessary with transcript).

If you are ANYWHERE close to the poverty line, take paystubs from January 1st to prove 2016 projected income, or take a letter from the sponsor's employer stating annual wage.

Good luck!!!

Some embassy/consulates will ask for updates and/or proof of current income and some won't. But it's good to be prepared!

Thank you so much Sukie...with that said there is no need for an updated employment letter either (if there was no job change)
