I have great confidence for you both! If there is any questions before tomorrows interview PLEASE let me know. I have to admit it was semi anti climactic. We were there for an hour all together (no waiting outside or anything.) We were there at 930 and out by 1030. Most people were in casual clothes, me and my hubby were among the FEW dressed up. All should be fine.

My husband and I have a trip to Iceland coming up. We fly back from iceland to JFK (NY) on May 7th. Our interview got scheduled for May 9th at 8:30am. I think we are actually going to skip our return flight from NY to Fort Worth, and rent a car and drive to Montreal instead and just fly home from Montreal. Can anyone foresee any issues with that? We would be driving across the border and we would of course declare to them that we are on our way to the consulate for my husband's interview.

Let me know your thoughts.

Also, from what I can see on our paperwork, my husband goes to the interview and I have to wait outside. Is that correct?

husband's visa has been approved. they asked about my son from my first marriage. also they made him do the interview in english and not in punjabi haha. he did fine apparently! we are so happy. they are saying one week until passport and visa are returned.

best wishes everyone; hope it is a great month for approvals.
