So on my fiancées birth certificate her name is wrote in English as "Lung Wing Ka". But we wrote Wingka Lung on all her paperwork, and she signed her name as such. Do you think we will be safe? She is really worried about it but I thought it's something that can be easily explained at the interview

Can you just clarify?

On her passport what is her last name and first name?

On her paperwork, what did you list as her last name and first name?

Ohh okay. Yeah, it should be fine. I've actually seen this a lot with people immigrating from China.

Welcome to the forum.

Should not be problem, as long as you explicitly follow the instructions on each from, i.e., Last Name (Family Name), Given Name (First Name), and place the appropriate name in the appropriate space. Do not try to overthink these forms and instructions, follow them quite literally.

Another example, if you find that the English version of their address is too long, follow the instructions for use of supplemental pages. Notice the difference in the length of the phrase below, Mandarin, Pinyin, English.
