I sent my AOS February 09,2015. Received an RFE in Sept,2015 replied mid Oct,2015.

I have been sending E-Requests and calling USCIS at least once a month.

All the replies I got were pending consideration, and the second reply was due to workload etc.

The last E-request I sent, I had no reply from USCIS, so I decided to call...

So I talk to the customer service center and she said she was going to try to see more info about my case,

and she said that USCIS did not receive my RFE and that is why they can't process my case...and that she would escalate my call so I could get more info, after waiting couple of mins, the phone call just hung up...

So I called once again, and the second person I spoke to said, there is no information regarding my RFE on her computer despite that my case is ready to be schedule an interview and I have to wait another 30 days..until I contact them again.

I really don't know what to do. This is so stressful, they give no insight of what is going on with the process...and I am just scared they are gonna deny my case with no reason.

btw, I haven't had an update on my online status since april 13,2015..not even the RFE I got was updated on my online status.

Does anyone have a similar experience?

Please help....

We have found the online status does not reflect all the changes and steps in the process. In fact, all we have seen, to date, is our initial receipt notice (NOA1) and we have it shown that they got our RFE reply 4 months ago even though they received our biometrics before that. We do know that our local office is backed up and behind so we accept that we are going to have to wait longer than some others have waited. If we need information, we call because our electronic notifications have only worked once and nothing since.

You've been waiting a long time and I don't really know what to suggest other than trying to see if you can make an Infopass appointment and speak face to face with a human.

I'm sorry this has been so difficult for you, Not knowing is very stressful, but if it offers some comfort, yours is not the only report I've seen of couples waiting unduly long to be processed. It seems like some applications get stuck in limbo for an indefinite period for no apparent reason.

Hoping you hear something positive soon.
