USCIS sent me a text message "NOA1" with receipt number telling me that my check was cashed and petition was processed and sent to California CSC.

My question is, I am going out of the state for more than a month. Is it possible to track any activities on my petition online or by email or text messages in case there is any REF or questions? I tried to sign on the homeland security website, i created an account but there is no way to input the receipt number. Any other way to track my petition somehow by using the receipt number only?

Thanks!

Did you sign up at USCIS.gov? There is a link on the homepage that says "Check Your Case Status", you can enter your receipt number there. You can also make an account and enter the receipt number and then set texts alerts.

Yes I can check my case number by receipt number, so you think if I keep checking on the USCIS it will show any action to my petition? ....I signed at homeland security web site and there is no place to type a receipt number...I checked everywhere.

Yeah, you can keep checking the USCIS website and it should show any updates. But really any updates you will see there until NOA2 are RFE's. Create an account there and you should see an option to turn on text notifications for any updates.
