Hi Folks,

Currently waiting on some documents for my K1 interview (affidavit, long-form birth certificate and police check) which I should all have by the end of April. Problem is, when I go to book my interview online at the consulate here in Taipei, it says the only available date is April 08. Every other date up to and past the end of the year is blanked out. That can't be right, surely? I've already paid the interview fee. Can anyone shed some light? I'd be very grateful!

I had a similar issue for my interview. Every week that date would change, but there would only be one date available.

France now has this strange process where the embassy sends you a letter with a date for your interview, yet you still have to go online to register and pay the fee.

I was worried because the date chosen by the embassy for my interview was greyed out and the only date available was a week before my interview was supposed to happen. I emailed them and they told me they use this only to collect the fees and get the address to send the passport to. I logged in the following week and this time I could select the right date.

Not sure how Taiwan works though. But you can try checking next week. Or email the embassy, that's what I did. They were very helpful.
