Good luck with that-lol.

I also wish them good luck.

Two students having a Social Warrior clash I don't care much.

She however is an employee of the University and told him he was not welcome in the building.. I would fire her for bullying students and creating a hostile environment.. Then I would get myself fired by telling her I am offended by her wearing jeans and appropriating my culture.

Apparently the Uni came out with some weak comment that she was not working at the time, but this happened on the premises.

Now the precious snowflakes are ragging on bieber for cultural appropriation!

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/justin-bieber-cultural-appropriation-dreadlocks-accused-a6967201.html

someone needs to tell kids today that white people have had dreads for quite some time. they're called hippies. they're usually dirty. dreads are a part of american culture at this point. that's what i don't get, culturally - dreads are closer to rastafarianism than anything else.

I was disturbed by her overall sense of superiority and yes the guy was a bit of a weird kid. Under the circumstances, I think assault is a little overboard. I do think she should face some sort of repercussion with the University.

I have to commend him for staying fairly calm and not shoving her out of the way.

I also hate the term 'Cultural Appropriation'. It really should be 'Cultural Misappropriation' IMO. IE its perfectly acceptable to appropriate elements from other cultures if it is done in a respectful manner.

She certainly deserves a smack.

It's one of the stupidest terms I've ever heard. I wasn't aware it was a thing until this video. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Good luck!

I became aware of it when Avril Lavigne did 'Hello Kitty'. That became a bit of a firestorm in the US, though I don't think it was a big deal in Japan. Maybe Jacque knows.
