My wife and I have started a tradition of road tripping during the summer. Last year we travelled to Portland, Oregon which was crazy amazing. Now we plan on visiting Canada, that's where I need help.

What are the road conditions like in terms of safe zones?

What documents do I need to visit Canada?

We also plan on camping, where are some good camping spots?

What are the laws in terms of road usage?

Any information would be appreciated.

consider joining AAA Auto club

You will need your GC to get back into the US (likely your valid passport as well),

check out this site to see what types of documents/visas you may need to enter Canada: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/index.asp

We drive to Canada every summer. The roads we travel are nice and aren't much different than in the U.S. other than the use of the metric system. You'll need your passport and greencard.

Be aware that you'll need to use the KPH section on your spedometer not the MPH. 60 miles/hr is about 90 km/h.

Where in Canada were you planning on going? Every place is different, just like in the USA.
