I was wondering how accurate or close to it being accurate the time line and estimation here?

Does this apply only to Visa Journey in general since many petitioners or Visa seekers apply outside of VJ?

Timeline

The timeline is only as accurate as the data people who are members of VJ choose to input into it.

If timelines aren't updated, or updated incorrectly this can make the data unreliable, or misleading.

However, it should be used as a guide.

For example, my timeline was estimating between 45 and 55 days, I received my NOA2 on the 46th day.

They are only representative of those of VJ who update their details, and do not in any way interact with the information USCIS itself has regarding processing.

Oh, I hope some high ranking member can respond to your inquiry...I don't know if 68 days is normal or you have to follow up wit it...Hope someone else can reply to you!! Good luck, be patient!

Unfortunately there isn't any follow up at this stage to do. The USCIS timescale is 5 months. This is how long must pass before they will even entertain your query.

Sadly USCIS seem to process each case differently for who knows what reasons, so while some may be approved in 2 weeks, others may take months.

If it makes you feel any better there are quite a few from Jan, with dates before yours, who are also still waiting.

I know how it feels to be stuck waiting without any means of getting an answer... but just remember, a year ago the processing time for K1 was always 6 months - 1 year, so you are still in a good position being as CSC.

Keep in mind that the timelines provided here are only the milestones REACHED and may often reflect best case scenario. So while there may be an application here that is reported to receive NOA2 45 days after NOA1, there are still other applications that have timelines of NOA1 entered months ago that are still waiting for NOA2. Don't just refer to the current trends graphs, do some timeline searches on here to get a better idea of how varied the timelines can be.

Thanks dana7027, I will just keep my time line up-to-date and hope the estimated time will play to my favor as well the rest of the Vj members as well. I also hope petitioners/applicants can create a timeline so other members can compare and get an idea. I know each case is different, but still would not hurt to create one.
