I heard that you can send in personal checks with your application I-485 to the Chicago lock box. However, on the USCIS website, it says Chicago does not accept personal checks. I am thinking that that may be for the regular Chicago office, rather than the lock box. Does anyone know if you can send personal checks to Chicago Lockbox?

Thanks!
