I sent in the I-129F application packet and according to the USPS website it reached on March 11th... however I haven't yet seen the check cashed. After how many days should I expect to see the NOA1?

Is there any number to call and verify receipt of package in Chicago?

Thanks,

/UM

Hang in there, it takes a few days for them to cash your check. There is a difference between them receiving the package and cashing the check, these two things can be days apart, you have nothing to worry about =)

My story:

09/23/2002 - Met Chris online, there was something very special about this guy =0)

07/16/2006 - We got married in Reno, Nevada.

USCIS:

08/13/2006 - Filed for AOS, AP, EAD - they were VERY carefully packaged with a detailed cover sheet on top of each of the forms, just as VJ's instructions recommend. It was A LOT of work, but it did pay off! (we firmly believe this is what sped up our process big time)

08/31/2006 - Biometrics appointment

09/09/2006 - Received my AOS appointment date!

10/26/2006 - EAD touched and AP APPROVED!

10/27/2006 - AOS appointment at 7:30 AM! APPROVED IN EXACTLY 70 DAYS!!!

11/01/2006 - EAD approved

11/02/2006 - Email notification - greencard will be mailed as soon as it is ready! YAY again!

11/02/2006 - Welcome to the United States of America letter in the mail! Almost there! =)

11/06/2006 - EAD card and White card (a.k.a. greencard) arrive in the mail!

Journey Total Duration: 80 days

Filed for removal of conditions on 07-28-2008 and had them removed on 09-10-2008

Remember that the I-129F will also go to CSC for further approval, so you need to make time for that. I would give it about 2 weeks or so. Keep in mind that this is CSC we're talking about so you may never get it, if you want it, you'd have to call. But wait it out a bit to see what happens.

Thanks guys... I guess I'll just be patient for the next couple weeks.... which is a really hard task! My bank must already be wondering why I'm bogging down their portal by continuous sign-ins!

My I-129F was received in Chicago on February 26th. I haven’t received an NOA1 yet nor has the check been cashed. I received an NOA1 for my I-130 so quickly!

Since I filed my I-130 with VSC, will my I-129F go there for further approval too?

My husband has dual citizenship with Canada and the US. He was born in the US but has lived in Canada for 30 years. We've been married for quite awhile. We have a 15 year old son.

The check was cashed today and on the back I can see a number - MSC...xxx..xxx

Is this the case number or do I need to look for something else? It doesn't show up when I look for the case online on USCIS's website....
