G325a advice needed!

Hi all,

My fiance and I are well on our way to completing our I-129f package for submission to kickstart our process.

We have a question about the G-325A form though. Lots of old threads say a few different things so I would like clarity once and for all:

1) Both my fiance (my petitioner) and I each have to submit 1 completed form each or 4 completed forms each? This will also let us know if we have to submit 1 passport sized photo each or 4, since 1 photo has to be attached to each form.

2) Applicant's employment last five years: this question asks for the full name and addresses of each employer. We had been filling in our forms on the computer, but realized that the line provided was too small to show all of the employer information - if it was printed it will only show whatever can fit in the space provided. Can we attach a sheet to show this information and reference it on the form?

3) Some posts I've read show that we can type in our information, others say we have to handwrite all information on the G-325a with black ink (we know that typed or not, our signatures need to be in original black ink). What is the verdict here?

Thanks again for your help guys!

1) It should be; 1 I-129f form, 2 G-325A forms and if you wish 1 G-1145. You only need to submit 1 (each) of the passport photos, which should be US sized, and do not attach them to the forms, they should be separate, in an envelope, and with the name of the person written lightly on the back.

2) You should attach a separate page, clearly stating which question the information relates to, and yes you can say 'please see attached supplemental sheet, and give a reference number to locate the information.' (In my case, I just abbreviated/shortened the addresses as needed to fit on the form, but that may not be appropriate for you)

3) We typed all of our information, only providing 'wet' signatures are required on the forms, and we had no issues. I believe we made one correction in black ink.

Below is the guide in case you haven't seen it.

One form from each. The current form is one page; the old form was a four page form (this is where you are getting the 4 from).

This will also let us know if we have to submit 1 passport sized photo each or 4, since 1 photo has to be attached to each form.

One photo of each.

Yes

Either or Both

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

Hi,

As for the information not fitting, yes you can attach another sheet either typed or handwritten. That's what my lawyer did, just attached a sheet on the back.

The documents can also be a mix of typed and written. Not everything has to be typed and not everything has to be written. Just make sure it looks presentable. And if handwritten easy to read.

Good luck! Wishing the best for you!
