Have not received interview date for Manila

It's been a very long process to get daughter here. We started before Yolanda, then one thing and another, but we're finally almost finished. It's been awhile since I've done this, so I can't remember everything.

Anyways, I called last week and was told the NVC portion was approved on March 17 and we should be getting an interview date.March 24th we received the email stating we were now waiting for an available interview date.

How long does this take or should I call and try to schedule an interview? Also, I'd like to get the medical and interview done in the trip to Manila - she can stay with her uncle there. How long should I allow between medical and interview?

Thank you!

Sorry you don;t have the option to schedule your appointment or call anyone. You have t be more patient you just got case complete. Interview scheduling for many embassies for May just started Monday.

Just have to wait. I would not get medical until you have interview date.

NVC must schedule the interview for the immigrant visa. Be patient.

Embassy states to do the medical AT LEAST 5-7 days before the interview.

Thanks guys. I got the letter today, the interview is May 11th. I was concerned they wouldn't give her enough time for the medical because they were closed for Holy Week, but she's got plenty of time.

I looked through my wife and son's visa applications and realized we had to reschedule the interview - twice - once for a time issue, then another for sputum. It's all started to come back to me now.

Thanks for your help!
