Hooray finally i got my EAD approved online. I have only one question though.

Hers what it says;

This case has been approved. On March 14, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

Now that its been approved can i go ahead and apply for jobs as most of them ask if im allowed to work and they do the background checks. If they check will it come back ok?

I dont have an employer yet i mean when applying for a job it asks if your allowed to work in the US. am i now allowed? if they check will it come back ok. Alot of companies use other companies to do the background check so id rather wait a couple of days to apply if it means i would get better results but at the same time i want a job ASAP.

I would say that your card should be in your mail box in a couple days. That approval notice is them sending you your card. I cant see how it would hurt to start applying for jobs now. You are approved.

Congrats :D

:D Congratulations :dance: Claudeth received her EAD 4 days after her approval letter. You need to show it to your employer along with your social security card once a job offer has been submitted. Good luck
