Hi everybody! I am a mother of two kids and we just got here in the US August of last year. Been married since 2012. We got married in Kuwait and did our visa application in US EMBASSY in manila. I came with cr1 and my son is cr2. My daughter is already a us citizen.

My relationship is going down the drain and it got worse when I found out that my husband cheated on me as I saw his emails. Unfortunately, my son saw a picture of a naked woman too on his imessage on his ipad. (My son is only 6 years old.) i want to know what's the best thing I could do, I want a divorce. But I am a stay at home mom and does not have an income of my own. I have given him all my money saved up because we needed to buy our tickets to come here.

I feel bad as everyday my kids see that we are arguing and shouting at each other. I can not see a lawyer since I do not drive yet. I told my husband that I wanted to see a lawyer but he has been refusing. I do not know what to do anymore. ?

I would love to. But i have a toddler and I just can't leave her with her dad because he doesn't know how to care for a kid. On his off days, I am always the one telling him what to do with the kids. If I let him, they would be eating late and be on their gadgets the whole day as he is like that.

I want to know if I need to be with him for a year or so to file a divorce. The internet says different things which confuses me.

We'll be prepared that he'll have to learn as you'll likely have joint custody barring that there's no red flags for him having kids on his own.

it's not going to be easy with kids in tow. Your husband would be paying child support to you for the upkeep of the kids. The child support depends on his income. You will have to get a job or something to do at home. If you have skills in crafting or something you can start an At Home business. Just start doing something...I wish you the best whatever you do.

Thanks! I was actually opting for a home based work on web designing. But he can't buy me a pc yet so i can not do anything about that. It is just that our relationship is so damaged that my kids are seeing us fights and saying bad things to each other. It is not a nice setting for kids to grow up. I have sacrificed enough when i learned about him cheating a couple of times. But I just can't deal with it anymore.
