Can any one please just list of the things which they send with packet for me ! I am not good at finding things .if someone has recently send AOS packet pls list things for me ,it would be a great help

Also I am confused about how to get my wife for following things .like they just call the human resource and will the human resource office gonna give us something like in paper form or email to assure if I am covered for following listed below.or they just gonna send email or confirm over the phone.just wandering how it gonna work as it might take long & we are looking forward to apply in next 2weeks . Things are like

-employee Health Medical Insurance Plan-

-Joint Vehicle Insurance

-Joint Bank Account

-life insurance?

-pension plan

-& when and how she can change her name since we are married.i mean where to start.

I would be flattered if some one please give his/her little time to answer all this .

Just received my Green Card today We didn't get called into an interview! My card is valid for 10 year though.... That has to be a mistake, right?

fast forward, October 17th, 2015: We got married at our backyard, with a beautiful ceremony.

January-February 2016: We were both in Turkey together!

April 1st, 2016: Sent in the package: I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

April 4th, 2016: Package received, signed by CHYBA.

April 10th, 2016 (Day 6): NOA1 received

April 11th, 2016 (Day 7): Checks cashed

April 12th, 2016 (Day 8): NOA1 Hard copies received

May 2nd, 2016 (Day 29) Biometrics Appointment received, biometrics scheduled for may 12th.

May 3rd, 2016 (Day 30): Walk-in biometrics successfully completed

June 7th, 2016 (Day 64): Expedite Requested on EAD

June 9th, 2016 (Day 66): Proof of job offer sent to uscis via fax

June 14th, 2016 (Day 71): Expedite Request was assigned to an officer for response

June 16th, 2016 (Day 73): EAD status changed to "New Card in Production" and AP changed to "Approved"!

June 20th, 2016 (Day 77): EAD status changed to "Your card was mailed to you"

June 23rd, 2016 (Day 80): EAD/AP Combo Card Arrived!

Your I-94 is the white form you would file out while your on the plane and when you go through border control they staple it in your passport... It's been 6years since I came into the country not sure if things had changed since then Edited by Moslund

May 20th: Biometrics letter recieved [Day 39]

June 1st: Biometric appointment [Day 51]

September 23, 2015 - RFE Received                                                                              April 12, 2016 - Certified Copy of Marriage Certificate received!

At my poe I did fill the form when I was in plane at I handover that to the officer at my poe & he never staple anything in my passport .all I have is the k1 stamped in my passport ..??

Is this normal ?

And would it be ok if I just go online and fill I 94 and print it out ???

But u wanna share what things u attached with " to prove of relationship "

As I really wanna know how it gonna work

There are lot of things you can attach depends from person to person, attach things that you feel will prove your relationship to someone who doesn't know anything about it....I attached apartment lease I had with my wife, our car insurance since we drove a vehicle together, a mutual bank account we opened together. I in fact even attached about 10-12 photos of me and her from the time we met to the different events important events in our life together. A couple of pictures of me and her with her parents when we went for a vacation to Asia. So yeah anything that you feel can help prove that your relationship isn't a fraud or something.

I know you mentioned you are not good at finding things but you will have to read a couple of websites before you apply as every persons situation is different when it comes to applying for a GC, and your document package shapes in that way. So you will understand what works best for you when you read stuff around the net and then surely we are here to help you understand.

29th March'2016- Package received. (day1)

4th April'2016- Received 4 Text SMSs and 4 E-mails from the USCIS notifying my case has been received and routed to National Benefits Center for Processing. (day 6)

5th April'2016- Checks have been cashed. (day 7)

7th April'2016- NOA received in mail . (day 9)

2nd May'2016- Received Biometric Appointment Letter(day 33)

5th May'2016- Walked In 8;30am for early Biometric Appointment( In and out in 12 minutes)(day 36)

12th May'2016- Biometric Appointment Schedule

24th May'2016- Received RFE for Form I864( Tax Returns, Pay Stubs)(day 55)

26th May'2016- Sent out the evidence for RFE (day 57)

1st June'2016- Received notification that the RFE package was received. Case status website updated (day 56)

2nd June'2016- Put in a request for Change in Address for all the 4 applications. Received Confirmation mail the same day(day 57)

6th June'2016- Address change request was completed.(day 61)

11th June'2016- Letter of Address change confirmation was received. (day 66)

23rd June'2016- Called USCIS asked to spoke a Tier 2 officer was called back on the third attempt after 8 hours and spoke about confirmation of address change. (day 78)

24th June'2016- Status change for EAD only "New Card is being produced" (day 79)

29th June'2016- Card was mailed to me at the mentioned date(day 84)

2nd July'2016- Card received in mail (day 87)

9th August'2016- Interview scheduled for September 13th(day 125)

16th August'2016- Interview cancelled.(day 132)

13th September'2016- Attended the interview and was told my file wasn't available at the local office. (Day 163 )

29th October'2016- Rescheduled the interview for December 1st. (Day 209)

1st December'2016- Judgement Day RELOADED!(Day241)

2nd December'2016- New card is being produced!(Day 242)

6th December'2016- STATUS CHANGED TO NEW CARD HAS BEEN MAILED. (Day 246)

8th December'2016- Received USPS tracking code to track my GC. Scheduled for delivery on 14th December'16.

Last I checked you needed your EAD or an I-94 with an unexpired passport... Be careful cause even tho I had a I-94 and an unexpired passport the window for eligibility expires 14days previous to the I-94 expiring... I went 7days before my I-94 expired and it got rejected and I recieved a letter from SS explaining that's why it got rejected... Just make sure your I-94 is within that time frame and your good to go Edited by Moslund
