Well, you can put your receipt numbers and check them... I am not sure if its working yet but that's how I am killing my time with this whole thing of seeing if any works done on my application... I am a little glad though I am not the only one and it's really a system glitch...

Expect it to be down for part of the weekend for maintenance ok, maybe after that it will be up and running more smoothly and allow you access. If it locks you out there must be a way of unfreezing it, forgotten password link?

Hope you can get in soon.

It happened to me, too, so I just created a new account using a different email and added my receipt numbers again. The username/password recovery never worked for me, so that was what I came up with:)

Ahhhh...it didn't work for me either...I am the applicant i tried making an account for my wife and it somehow didn't work!!! Well I am glad it worked for you...I am just checking my individual receipts to see if there is change in status!!

Still no biometrics letter for me..hope it comes this week! It seems most people have theirs around the month mark after they filed, and I've got to find a way to Nashville as we don't have a car Finally able to check my case status as well and it says received for all of them...does it normally change to "Fingerprint fee received" before biometrics letter is sentWe

Well the fingerprint fee received will show up on the website when they cash the check (i.e. if you did send a check with your application if its a money order then you might not know when they cashed it unless you contact your bank) once that is done usually the scheme of things go in the order of emailsms->noa in the mail->biometric appointment usually takes around 25-30 days for most mine took a bit longer...

Finally, I get the biometric appointment letter today.

However, I haven't still received the NOA hard copies yet.

Is it possible to get the biometric appointment letter first?

I don't understand my situation...

Everyday I check the mailbox.. I am so glad to get my appointment mail.

But I want to know where my NOA hard copies are...

There are some rare cases where biometric appointments have come before NOAs...45 days are the limit for USCIS to schedule a biometric appointment after receiving the packet...I am sure you will hear something...

On part 5 Q1 it should have auto populated with a 1. For Q2 you need to add the number 1. The total size in Q8 will then need to be inputted with the number 2.

I think the form is quite badly worded and so many errors are minor ones that cause extra work all around.

Yes be sure to send in the original RFE letter (take a copy first though)

heres the thing I finally got my account back but i still can add my case I keep receiving this message

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

• You are attempting to add a receipt number that does not exist in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again.

I just officially give up on this case status... I'm going with the old school way letter by letter..... I really hate this

Can I send the RFE as a normal letter? Am I going to get a notification that they got it?

Mine says fingerprint fee recieved by I have no biometrics appointment yet and it's been 16days since I recieved hard copies of my NOAs 18days since the Date on the NOA and 35 days since they recieved my documents... Im expecting something this week... If I haven't recieved something by Saturday Then I'll start to go into panic mode lol

We ended up sending 2 money orders, and they have indeed been cashed (on april 29), so not sure why status hasn't been updated yet. I'll just hope for the best! Might try calling if I don't receive my letter by the end of this week or next.

It happens, many people forget to sign forms!

My RFE was so snnoying too, deleting my wife's name on the form because 2 sections are connected to each other!

Yes you don't have to track it if you don't want to, it just gives you peace of mind that's all. I sent mine in an envelope but it was tracked.

The only notification you will get is an update to your account stating they have received your RFE response and are continuing to work on your case based upon what you sent in. Of course you get the usual email and text telling you there is an update on your case.

Question... I see some people are saying it takes at the most 45days to receive you biometrics appointment in the mail is that counting from day they recieved your application or the date on the NOA? Just curious cause I'm at day 35 from hem receiving my document but only at day 18 from NOA date... I would hate to reach day 45 from them receiving things and they tell me to call back that it's 45days from the NOA date

I called USCIS last Friday and asked about that.. The guy told me that it will be sent within 30 days from the date they received the case.

Okie thanks for that so I'm at day 35 then guess I have 10days worth of waiting left to do then... If I have nothing by friday which will be day 40 im going to call or maybe I should just call tomorrow since it's past 30days to be fair it took them over 2 weeks to even process my documents after receiving them in the first place so I feel like I should give then an extra week out there recommended turn around window

I called uscis since it's now 36days since they recieved my case and no bio letter yet... there telling me it's 30days from when you recieved your noa in the mail but the Uscis websites states from its 30days from when USCIS recieved the case... It's conflicting information There responce when I brought it up was the website needs updated, what the hell?? I'm not stressing about it yet until the end of the week passes just drives me crazy how much conflicting information you get... First and hopfully the last time I will have to call uscis
