I, being the silly person I am, forgot to bring my marriage certificate to my bio appointment (in my defence-it was not on the list with required documentation needed, although for a second there is though I might need it), so I had to go back the next day - everyone at the ASC was very friendly and polite and did not give me any hard time and just told me to go whenever the next day. At the appointment itself everything went very quickly and smoothly.

Can anyone share when did they hear anything from the USCIS after they did their biometrics? I'm just wondering when to expect anything (hopefully not an RFE)

of what I've seen as of yet ive noticed on people's timelines if they are going to get a RFE then they are recieving it roughly 1-2weeks after biometrics appointment.. i think if you get past 3-4weeks after your biometrics appointment and not had anything in the mail then you can start to relax slightly

i was never asked for my marriage certificate at the biometrics. but i did send a copy with my paperwork to USCIS. i'm just waiting still. been 14 days since my bio.

I guess if you call uscis they may tell you the general reason... I think so

But they probably will tell what specifically is wrong in the letter

But calling them is worth a try

My RFE letter was dated 3 days after my Biometrics appointment but it didn't reach me until May 6 lol

I kind of know for fact that I will prob get a RFE for not including the medical report. I didn't have time to go to the civil surgeon and then I figured out that since USCIS states that it can be included with the original application or RFE/interview I'm good.

Biometrics tomorrow so will see what happens after that.

If you have your passport/driver licence with your maiden name (like I have) and your application is with your married name, the ASC will want to see your marriage certificate since the surname is different. No biggie

That's a interesting new info for me about resetting the "clock" for I-765 if you get RFE... what I know is that the date on your receipt matters... hmmm.

no point calling, just wasting your time and there time. it's all explained in the letter. that's exactly what they will tell you.."It's all explained in the letter."

Got biometrics done today at 9:00 easy and fast they don't let early walk ins my case status still not working for me
