Yesterday the check was finally cashed and today I got the text notification, SO happy everything seems fine now. :dancing: I was getting worried. So now to wait for NOA hopefully it doesn't get lost or stolen since my mailbox area is not the best. :wacko:

Also--stupid question...I know I will get biometrics letter after, what is that? What does it ask of us?

That is too funny! But yeah I think he could change some processes but I'm sure that would have to be way down the line after like many approvals or something. I would think it wouldn't affect the ones that already started the process right? hopefully not haha :P

You got your text super fast! Good luck on the NOA, I'm waiting now too, but just got my notification text yesterday. Hopefully we get it soon!

Just received my Green Card today We didn't get called into an interview! My card is valid for 10 year though.... That has to be a mistake, right?

Your biometrics letter tells you when your biometrics appointment is... You go to that location at that time and you get your picture taken for your green card and your finger prints taken

Well technically EAD processing time on USCIS website is 90 days...However, I am a part of March Fillers and most of those guys got them mid April after filling early March- February end... So hopefully soon enough but yes after the biometrics...

25th March'2016- Sent out the application via UPS to Chicago.

29th March'2016- Package received. (day1)

4th April'2016- Received 4 Text SMSs and 4 E-mails from the USCIS notifying my case has been received and routed to National Benefits Center for Processing. (day 6)

5th April'2016- Checks have been cashed. (day 7)

7th April'2016- NOA received in mail . (day 9)

2nd May'2016- Received Biometric Appointment Letter(day 33)

5th May'2016- Walked In 8;30am for early Biometric Appointment( In and out in 12 minutes)(day 36)

12th May'2016- Biometric Appointment Schedule

24th May'2016- Received RFE for Form I864( Tax Returns, Pay Stubs)(day 55)

26th May'2016- Sent out the evidence for RFE (day 57)

1st June'2016- Received notification that the RFE package was received. Case status website updated (day 56)

2nd June'2016- Put in a request for Change in Address for all the 4 applications. Received Confirmation mail the same day(day 57)

Got done with my Biometric today....Seattle ASC (Tacoma actually) pretty quick and easy took me longer to get there and was out in 10 minutes...the staff was polite and nice.....probably the easiest step in the whole AOS process now I guess the wait begins and fingers crossed for no RFE....

25th March'2016- Sent out the application via UPS to Chicago.

Wow u managed to get a license within 2 days of arriving.

When I got married (many moons ago I had to wait 3 days to apply and then receive it) guess it depends on the State and quite possibly the era you were married as things change fast !

Maybe because we got married in Las Vegas and weddings are like a business there :) Too bad you waited that long. We completed the application online, and just went to the Clerk's office (or whatever that's called) and finished everything in a couple of minutes. If you don't complete that online, you can just do it there, it takes like 5 minutes.

i'm not there yet, but I can't understand why you are getting sad because of not seeing your case online. You have your hard copies and know that they process you docs, relax XD

5/12/2016 - checks cashed [Day 7] 7/28/2016 - case numbers for i-130 and i-765 started working to say case was received on May 6 [Day 84]

Hello Vj family,

First I want to apologize to everyone I offended with my response regarding being an April or May filler. It was not my intention at all. I see that everyone is very respectful and joyful here and do not want too be the bad person, and I sincerely apologize to everyone.

For my Marylanders (Baltimore), I was downtown today and decided to take a shot for an early fingerprint, and it was successful. The officer asked me if I had an appointment and said yes but it's not until Monday. She told me it's fine, just give me your appointment letter. The whole process literally took 5 min. Filling a 2 min form and when your number is called its time for fingerprint and picture. Staff was very professional and friendly. An ID is required. (if you get on an nice officer you have a chance to do it without an ID, a spanish girl was lucky today).

PS: EVERYONE WAITING TO HAVE THEIR FINGERPRINT DONE DO NOT WEAR EARRINGS OR FACIAL PIERCING, YOU WILL BE ASK TO TAKE THEM OFF.
