Yeah I think so. But honestly I used to check it a lot! only before I received NOA 1.

Thank you Blessboy77 ?

03/15/16. Sent out I-130 and AOS package but instead of filing it concurrently, I misunderstood and filed it separately.

03/23/16. Phoenix lockbox transferred our case (I-130 only) to Nebraska, cashed check, received NOA via text/email.

03/28/16. Received NOA1 I-130 hard copy by USPS

04/08/16. Received the package that we sent to Chicago. Case rejected due to improper filing? We sent it back to Chicago together with I-130 NOA 1 that we received last week (also RFE just in case too) sameday.

04/11/16. Package I-485, I-765 arrived at Chicago lockbox the second time.

04/19/16. Received NOA1 for I-485&I-765 via Text&email with new case number. They also cashed the check today.

05/02/16. Received Biometric letter, scheduled on May 9

05/09/16. Biometric completed

05/25/16. I-485 Case updated online, case is ready to be scheduled

06/29/16. I-130 Case updated online, case was transferred..

06/30/16. Submit USCIS E-request to update/expedite I-765

07/11/16. Received EAD By mail

09/09/16. Interview date is scheduled on Oct 14

10/14/16. Approved, status changed to New card is in production

10/15/16. Status online for I-130 & I-485 updated to Case was approved

10/20/16. Status online for I-485 updated to Card was picked up by USPS with tracking number.

10/21/16. Received NOA2 for I-130 & I-485

10/22/16. Received the card from USPS ?

I called today to ask when I'm going to be able to add my dad's case on the uscis profile that I have to be able to get text/email updates, and they just told me that I have to wait until my case shows up on my case status, then I asked him when I suppose to be able to see my case there, then he just told me that they don't have an answerr for that..

My husband never received hard copies of his NOA for AOS/EAD/AP (none of them). He only received his bio appointment letter. He did get email with case #'s- so we have been able to use the tracker app & USCIS website. He even got a Notice to Applicant for him not turning in the medical form (not the immunization form 3025)- but the original medical exam and to wait for further instructions. He is K1 so he shouldn't have to, but go figure. I think I will call tomorrow just to ask about him not receiving the NOA's at all. The receipt date is 3/17/16

OMG QUESTION PLEASE INBOX ME OR REPLY:

do you get a letter for biometrics before or after your NOA 1 when adjusting status?

We have gotten no noa1 yet.

Thanks

Moslund... If you don't have a date then boy are you in big trouble !!

Ok now I scared you half to death... You can relax. As you are AOS your PD will be instant and it will appear on your NOA (as the date received). For others trying to obtain a GC the PD is of more importance as there are restrictions on when they can submit their applications (I think). Their PD has to become "live" whereas for you an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available without any quota unlike for others.

I'm a march filer. But just to ease some minds thought I would let you know. My status has never updated sine the initial updates that came with NOA1. And I got ead/ap in mail today for my husband. Status still read we received your case and will mail you something. Never got alerts for biometrics. Just appointment notice. Then after checking a billion times a day got a bunch of letters and approvals all in the mail today.

Awww nice! How long have you been in Port Jeff and where are you originally from? It's quite quiet I find.

I might go in next week and see if they can take me, not that I have any excuse to go in early. When was your appointment scheduled for?

I was born in port Jeff. And raised a few miles away. Moved here again last year. Husband is from Trinidad. In happy here and love the schools. We both have kids. My original apt was April 18. But I went in on April 11. There was no one there and they didn't give me any stress about it.

With NOA1 if you mean the electronic notification, you need to call USCIS just to see if there is something wrong. Usually the time frame is 10-15 days.

If NOA1 means the hardcopy of confirmation that the documents have been received.

Then, I think you will be fine don't panic. It's all good. The order usually is

1. Checks get cashed

2. You receive electronic notifications NOA.

3. You receive hard copies of your NOA.

4. Bio metric Appointment Letter.

5. The actual Bio metric Appointment.

For the people who just walked in for there bios after they got there appointment date but before the actual appointment. Did you make an info pass appointment for that day? Or did you literally just turn up at the front door asking to get it done? I'm just curious the local office here won't let you in the door unless you have proof of appointment that's why I asked if you done an info pass?

@Moslund Thanks for the heads up buddy.

This guy is right!! for most of us probably the status won't be updated as it was for me as well, I got my bio metric appointment letter today, no updates on the case status website or the app. God USCIS!!! I think it has to be those long walks to the mailbox ...No more cardio for me!!!

Ok looks like Darya and Denis could do with a little luck. Here's hoping you both receive some kind of news (preferably good!) very soon! Worst thing is hearing nothing at all...

I'm going to be sending off my RFE response soon to the "gods of USCIS"... Hopefully that will be it then for a while!
