Glad to hear people are getting their biometrics letter! Gives me a little more hope!

Husband and I have been out of town all week so I'm hoping there will be a letter waiting for us when we get back...it's been over two weeks now since we got our NOA'S in the mail

3/16/16 - I-130,I-485, and I-765 mailed
3/17/16 - Delivered to Chicago lockbox (Day 1)
4/1/16 - Checks cashed (Day 16)
4/4/16 - Emails, messages (3) received (Day 19)

4/11/16 - Hard copies received in mail (Day 26)

5/3/16 - Put in Service Request (Day 48)

Just received my Green Card today We didn't get called into an interview! My card is valid for 10 year though.... That has to be a mistake, right?

Biometrics Letter came today! YAY!! :no: Appointment on May 12th at 11am. I had high hopes all day today after seeing all of your posts about your letters arriving. I was so excited to see that envelope on the top of my mail pile.

For all of those that are waiting to receive their appointment dates/times just keep hope alive and try to think as positive as possible.

3/22 - package mailed to Chicago Lockbox

3/28 - package received (as noted on NOA we got in the mail later)

4/04 - NOAs sent

4/13 - NOA hardcopies received in the mail

4/18 - all three (I-485, I-765, I-131) touched (as per MyCase USCIS tracker)

4/27 - received Biometrics appointment letter

5/09 - Biometrics @ 2 pm

6/15 - called USCIS as there was no further info since the Biometrics appointment

6/16 - EAD/AP cases updated - card is in production

One letter you won't want to receive is an RFE !! I could do without it however I await to find out what I have done wrong in my application. I may need some assistance when I find out the issue in case others have come across the same.

It definitely sucks with your RFE but just remember we're here to help you out in case you need it :)

One letter you won't want to receive is an RFE !! I could do without it however I await to find out what I have done wrong in my application. I may need some assistance when I find out the issue in case others have come across the same.

Well, I WANT to receive AT LEAST this one XD

But to the point

my friend I was refering here earlier actually received the RFE

and she just submitted this requested evidence and her interview is taking place on may 20. right 6 months from the time she filed, so I wouldn't say it postponed the process that much. So don't be afraid to get any letters, cause I believe that anything they request from you will only strengthen you case!

5/12/2016 - checks cashed [Day 7] 7/28/2016 - case numbers for i-130 and i-765 started working to say case was received on May 6 [Day 84]

5/16/2016 - got 3 NOAs in the mail, dated May 12, priority date is 7/29/2016 - case status of I-765 is "New Card Is Being Produced", later in the evening - "Case Was Approved" [Day 85]

Congrats to everyone that is receiving the letters. And sorry to the people who have RFEs and setbacks - I don't think it will postpone your case too much.

My husband made a point yesterday that whatever happens is out of our control now and stressing out about it isn't going to change anything. While that is true, I told him that's easier said than done when it's constantly on your mind.... However, the most important thing for us all is that our cases get approved with minimal complications, and a week or two delay is a small price to pay! Good luck to us all.

Your right it is extremely hard to not stress out when it's on your mind... My concerns will drop significantly once I get my noa notification until then I can't help but worry... All thought I'm happy for those who are making progress it's hard to read people getting there Noas and bio appointments in who filed 2weeks after myself and I still don't have a noa... I'm a happy girl right now got my Noas on the mail a few minutes ago - huge sigh of relief

Da&de I sent mine the 8th the noa says recieved the 11th but my notice date is the April 27th!!!! So it basically sat in a pile for 3weeks til anyone touched it... I'm hoping yours is siting in a pile also and not lost... Maybe both of ours was in the same pile and they just found that pile and started working through it... I called my lawyer I was set up for text notification but not email... Uscis failed to text me
