Hey there!

I'm happy to be on the way to get my GC and EAD/AP card!!

I filed on April 15 and got the three NOAs on April 21. One problem though, is that I haven't been able to check the case status for any of the receipt numbers online. I get " My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."

I've read that it can take up to 45 days to appear online but I also saw that such a thing seldom happens and that mostly, the people in my situation were screwed. I saw that most people who didn't get to check their status online were unable to do so for the entirety of the process, so I guess I'll just wait and see what happens to me. I know it's not the end of the world if I can't check online, but it does give you a lot of peace of mind!.

I'm checking the mailbox almost daily to get the biometrics appointment! My husband is super busy with finals so I hope they schedule me on an easy date for him!!

I was also hoping to get a potential interview waiver sometime along the way, but unfortunately, the "juicy" evidence wasn't available at the time when we sent the package, so I'll probably just have to do the interview and hope we get someone who doesn't pick on us for no good reason.

I wish everyone an uneventful and easy process :goofy:

I got my NOA April 20th and still can't check my status online like you. Some of March people told me not to worried that happened to them too. May take up to 2 weeks till we can check our case ;)

So annoyed right now! First time in a week I bothered to check my USCIS account and my I-485 case has been updated to state they have sent me an RFIE which means everything comes to a halt until I receive the letter.

I have a feeling after seeing other people mention they wanted more info regarding finances.

My wife is well over the threshold but the previous years due being out of the country it was not income that was counted. Plus included in that was maternity leave.

I'm hoping it's something more simple than that as if we are above the threshold now for over a year and a half I don't know what other evidence we can provide.

First setback so a bit miffed !!

Same here. I received NOAs by email and text on April 22nd, and I'm not able to check my status online.

I applied EAD last year as a F-1 student. It took a couple of weeks for me to be able to check online. Then the online status just showed "initial review" for almost 2 month before it got granted.

Thanks and yes I do think they make it very difficult if you ask me. I'm not saying you don't need to check everyone out but the amount of paperwork we sent was unreal over and beyond to prove our 16 year relationship (maybe it was too much).
