Hey Da&De - What's going on with your case? I noticed your signature - you really haven't heard anything at all?

nope, nothing

i already stopped even checking

i mean i used to check my bank acount every time i had time to do that, now i only do it in the morning and in the evening

i am just waiting for this week to pass so that i can call them and "notify uscis" that i haven't heard from them for 30 days since i filed

Me and you both day 19 since filling and still no Noas

i thought you had some updates, such as cashed checks of emails, haven't you?

No I haven't heard anything I filed via a lawyer and they sent in there own check so can't check the status... No email no Text but after talking to some people on here I don't recall if my lawyer filed the form for the notification up dates or not... I've been in contact with his paralegal and they haven't recieved a noa for my either as of yet and they haven't had the package returned

so if you don't get the receipt in the mail by the 30th day of the date you filed, you have to call and tell them that

but i'm actually wondering what they are going to do? are they going to start looking for your package? and if yes, why they couldn't have done that when i called them several days ago

My husband went through a lot of procedures with uscis as he is a naturalized citizen

and the first time he filed his case with them they lost it and he had to resubmi everything

i hope it won't be the case with me

but it looks similar

How can you just lose mail... I get things get lost in transit to the location it happens but once it's been delivered how can you just lose it?? I completely see why they make you wait 30days like for the people who don't want notified by email or text then most likely they will receive Noas in the mail by then and hopefully avoid allot of calls... Being patient is easier said than do and it's not easy to just wait when your the 1 waiting

This is the first I've ever heard of this and I've been on these boards almost 2 years now. We filed after the I-94 expired and didn't have to do any additional paperwork, I don't think. Do you know what form it was?

Im out of status for (i-94 expired) 3 years before we filed AOS so far no problem.. I knew someone whose been out of status for 8 years. She had her gc just this year so far no prob too

Hang in there, I'm sure you will hear something positive soon. I haven't come across a case on these boards (well recently anyway) in which the package has been lost... Delayed responses to the submissions yes but outright losing them I would think not. Yes they are human (some would beg to differ!) however they really do know the importance of such files so I would assume they have a careful co-ordination of documenting and opening these packages.

I would really be interested to hear from people who work in these locations to come on these boards... Like a PR exercise to reassure us.

If they are anything like other government bodies around the world there will be lots of internal documents to complete as well as checklists for everything!

I don't know his helps but I found this statement on the usics website for lost document

"If customers or their representatives have any specific cases where they believe something was lost by a Lockbox facility, please provide details by email to Lockbox Customer Support at lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov and we will investigate."

I don't know if that will help you or get them to investigate sooner by its worth a try at this point

I just sent them an email. We'll see what it will lead to.

This is what I did (sent them an e-mail) even before the 30 day mark and within a few days, I got the text notifications. I mailed around the same time you did (received at USCIS Apr. 4) and got the text notifications on Apr. 20. It looks like there was a processing jam around that time. I am still waiting for the status to show up on the USCIS online status check. It still doesn't recognize my receipt numbers.
