I'm glad to see everyone's cases go smoothly... just makes me wondering what's going on with mine. Check not cashed yet. No NOA. It's been more than two weeks already.

I sent my packet (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131) to the Chicago Lockbox on 3/28, was picked up there on 3/30, received 4 emails and 4 texts at 9:30pm 4/4. Checks were cashed and cleared today.

FYI- I actually sent my packet to the 804625 PO box instead of the 805887 PO box, but it doesn't seem to have been an issue at all.

Now the waiting game begins...

Filed my paperwork March 24th, cheque was deposited by USCIS Chicago on the 1st of April. Waiting on my notice. Have worked lined up, but feel like they will continue to get impatient with this process. Filing AOS From J-1 Visa, going from "training" 12-15 hours a day on the job, to doing nothing is taking its toll on me.

Let's get the ball rolling April #Wecandoitfast.

Worst is I'm living away from my permanent residence at the moment and my mother in-law is doing the checking for me! Having the rest of my life in another persons hands, gut wrenching stuff. However she's perfect.

Hopefully one of us will get our hard copies this week! We are about to move into our own place on Friday, hopefully it will get here by then, otherwise my grandfather in law is going to have to open it for us!

It's only been 5 business days since they cashed my cheque. I didn't send it the form to receive text messages, etc. Not worried a-lot but as all of you probably can relate to is that it does get quite nerve wracking just waiting for that initial step to begin.

Thank you so much! I called and they told me they have 30 days to send the NOA, so she can't tell me now and they have to let me know by April 28th. She said it's still too soon to tell. So I guess, I'll be the only one waiting that long..

Hey everyone! Been following this thread so I thought I'd share my timeline so far.

3/16/16 - I-130,I-485, and I-765 mailed

3/17/16 - Delivered to Chicago lockbox

4/1/16 - Checks cashed

4/4/16 - Emails, messages (3) received

You're welcome Perhaps. I've seen people mentioning they didn't get NOAs by text and email even though they had attached the email notification form however their case had been accepted and then received the NOAs in the mail. That might be the case for you as well. I hope you'll figure out what's up soon
