I don't know if I plan on taking my daughter to the interview or not I guess it would depend on what mood she was in that day 2yr olds can be tempremental at times lol luckily I have 2 neighbors who are retired who always love to babysit even on short notice and Im only like 4-5min car ride from our local office... I go by that office almost everyday how badly I want to walk in and finalize everything!!! As for attire I plan on casual... If I was to dress more business type I would be more portraying someone I'm not and they want honesty right?? Even if we go to a fancy restaurant I don't really get dressed up I'm more casual just slap a bit of makeup on haha

Countless love at first sight instances on here... How lucky you found each other. Now the boring bit of making sure you can stay here with your husband for good. I know they have to check every story out but for all the genuine cases here it is very laborious!

Do you think there are really that many sham marriages to get GC's anymore? With it being so strict and all the evidence required I would think the false cases stand out a mile even before the interview stage!

My story is actually really unbelievable

Not only did we meet here, in a small town in nj

But he's actually Belarusian and he came here 15 years ago and naturalized

So it's pretty amazing how we found each other with all that distance and the chances to meet which were really tiny ♥️

Talking about fake marriages... Actually it's not that difficult, I guess it's more stressful than it is difficult

The most difficult part is to find the one who is eager to help you with this

And then all the documents required may be easily acquired by friends.

But it just seems to me that it's like that, Probably it's waaaay harder

No, it's just called MSC however all of the cases are being processed at the National Service Center. Your case will be re-routed to your local USCIS office should you have to do an interview, if not it will stay at the NSC. :)

Just got back from the ASC / USCIS. My Biometrics appointment went smoothly. My appointment was scheduled for 10 AM but I showed up at 9:15 AM and I was out again by 9:45 AM. I had to fill out a form and then I was shown to a waiting area where I had to wait for my number to be called. My fingerprints and photo took maybe 5 minutes in total. The staff was nice and I felt like it went pretty effective. Don't sweat it!

Now it's back to being a waiting game
