I believe its the G1145 form for e-notifications (see link). Not 100% sure though because our lawyer didn't include that in our packet.

I don't recall reviewing that piece of paperwork when I was going threw everything with the paralegal.. That makes me feel enter knowing that I probably didn't sign up for it which is why I haven't heard anything

Received NOA1 on Friday but still not able to check status online... anyone else having the same issue?

To be honest I didn't even know about the USCIS case tracker until after I received the notifications in the post. I suppose in the meantime they will have updated the online site so I could locate my cases.

It could take a short while but I'm sure you will have access soon.

Indeed we are, good to see another UK filer going through the same thing here in Texas! I did enjoy fiesta, went down to SA from Austin to see my wife's mother who lives there, fantastic atmosphere and had a great time with her younger siblings.

Yes another chance for even more eating and drinking! Good that the events have a lot to do with charity fundraising too. I wish the USCIS would show me a little charity now and fast forward my application.... But I doubt it.

I haven't gone through this visa procedures

I came to the US as a J-1 student and a week after i met my husband, we started dating and i stayed here

and overstayed my visa due to some circumstances

Countless love at first sight instances on here... How lucky you found each other. Now the boring bit of making sure you can stay here with your husband for good. I know they have to check every story out but for all the genuine cases here it is very laborious!

Do you think there are really that many sham marriages to get GC's anymore? With it being so strict and all the evidence required I would think the false cases stand out a mile even before the interview stage!

I'm getting ahead of myself here but need to ask a question in case someone knows the answer.

At the interview stage do they expect you to bring any children you have together on the day? I have no idea if you are supposed to or not.

Secondly at not do importantly are you meant to dress in business attire (to make it look like you're taking it seriously) do they even look at that really? As long as you are smart it shouldn't matter surely.

We will bring our kids, bc there is no one here that can watch them. And we haven't even thought about what to wear. Casual it is for us. We spent so much money on this whole thing, it sure is serious as hell!!

It is recommended you dress as if you are going to an interview or church. Being too casual speaks volume as for the children i am not sure there are places to accomodate them, however you can take them and explain that there is no one to watch them. Its big for your interview, prove a valid marriage. But try to dress as close to business type as possible.
