Got my biometrics scheduled for Wednesday too, excited at the prospect. All those waiting for their appointment letters, they do seem to take ages, but they will come, just keep as distracted as possible!

Desperately hoping for a quick EAD after the biometrics, seems like they're moving quite quickly from looking at the Feb/March filers

I guess April is a bad time to file - USCIS is probably busy working on H1B applications filed in the first week of April.

131s, 130s, work auths all get priority over h1bs.. you have to get work permit within 90 days. max.

  • March 22nd Lawyer posted out paperwork.

March 28th Checks Cashed

April 14 NOA1s dated April 1

April 15 Biometrics 28th April

28th April Biometrics completed.

Well howdy partner... We are in the same neck of the woods... and on a similar timeline. You enjoy the fiesta? Edited by gpiper

Yep, we can see your timeline, that's awesome)

Can't wait to get to the Party point haha)

Great I'm glad it appears... There are a few people already arranging parties I think! I will definitely have an interview as I did not go through the K1 visa route so it will be a longer process for me. Still having been married longer than 2 years I'm hoping they give me a 10 year card straight away!

Indeed we are, good to see another UK filer going through the same thing here in Texas! I did enjoy fiesta, went down to SA from Austin to see my wife's mother who lives there, fantastic atmosphere and had a great time with her younger siblings.

I only worry that yhe pictures I sent there were not the best and i don't want them on my documents XD

haha don't worry - apparently that's not the ones they use which confuses me why they would ask for so many. Anyways, the photos taken at your Biometrics are the ones they use for the EAD :)

Hey everyone, my timeline says it all. USCIS cashed the check last Tuesday, sent her an email on Friday about the NOA papers for all 3, and just got the NOA papers today.

To all those stressing out, do not! Just like the excruciating wait between the NOA1 and NOA2 for the fiance visa, it seems like forever. In the meantime you have time to spend time together and plan the job search and everything else. I used to check the USCIS website 2, 3, 4 times a day during the fiance visa. Just keep checking on it without being a nuisance to them and if there is an issue, they will let you know. Only if you feel there is going to be a problem with your situation or you feel it has been too long since things should have happened should you worry about it.

Hey there,

Not to worry you, but it just might cause issues. You should always be 100% honest and tell them everything, even if you think it could hurt your case. Just keep in mind, they are going to find out eventually anyhow and they will likely want to know why you failed to tell them that initially. Better to just be upfront from the start so have no issues to worry about.

I understand you forgot about it, even if that is sort of hard to believe. But they specifically ask for this kind of information on the application. Keep us posted but hopefully you just have some explaining to do.

No, i seriously forgot about it. They never asked about it on the application , and it was soooo long ago, way before i met my husband in germany.

Back then, my boss did the entire visa thing. I only went to the consulat , did that 10 min interview and a week later i had the visa in the mail.

I never thought i would have to apply for a greencard in the future since that was never the plan..

Where do they ask for "this kind of information" on the application?

april 1st: sent i-485 to chicago lockbox

april 4th: i-485 delivered to chicago lockbox
