Can I ask you, guys, what are you going to do once you get your EAD? I was wondering if it's gonna be harder for us, as immigrants to find a job? Let me know, please.. I'm interested to hear it!

No, we sent it from my husband's account and he doesn't have online account. I guess, I'll go ask to the bank on Monday and we'll see. I hope they didn't return the package..

Getting really nervous. Package delivered on March 28 to Chicago lockbox....and as of today still nothing. No checks cashed (stalking our account online) and no texts or emails. This is SOOO stressful. I just hope the package isn't on its way back to us.

At first ill be taking just an easy fastfood job no matter where...

Since i join the navy once i have my greencard im not too worried about finding a good job...

If i didnt plan to join the military i would still start at easy to get jobs and search further from there ^^

I'm finally joining you guys as well! Sent off my package (I-130, I-485 and EAD) on March 30, arrived on March 31 and now waiting..

Hello, no need to stress about this. I am a March filer and I got my packet sent back to me because I dated the check for 2015 lol... I didn't know they sent back the packet so I saw it was taking so long, I called USCIS and they told that they process applications case by case and the order is not always First In First Out. They confirmed though that once the check is cashed, if you joined the G-1145 you will receive shortly after the sms/emails notifications. I believe you will hear soon sometime this week. Good luck and patience is your best friend!

I'll just be finding an easy job to start off with - putting stuff away on shelves, I don't care lol. I'll hopefully be starting a volunteer job soon so that should give me some experience too. I start schooling in September so I just need to find something to pass time with

Sent everything off March 30th and arrived April 2nd. Taking a look at the previous months, looks like some are even getting green cards before EAD and AP are even processed. Of course, they're the lucky few, but who knows!

I really just want to be able to work more than anything. I don't know about you guys, but I've been here 2.5 months and can't wait to earn some money and have something to do!

I feel exactly the same way! According to the timeline I should get my EAD around mid/late June which is fine however I've applied for a volunteer job in the meantime - but yes, helping out earning money is definitely no. 1 on my list

They said something about that my visa is about to end and then I don't have any documents and blah blah blah.. so I don't know..

Ugh. I'm sorry to hear that I hope they're not sending it back! Do you have a copy of what you sent off? Maybe you can look it over if you wrote the check wrong e.g.?

I think it depends on where and what you want to study? I called the local community college for the specific program and they told me I don't need a GC. They just need to see a evaluated transcript of my foreign HS diploma - so I'm currently getting that taken care of so I can enroll as soon as possible!

I have also not heard anything yet, nor has my check been cashed. Guess we must be on the same stack of unprocessed apps. Hoping to hear something this week.. Does not make sense why some who have filed after us have already received NOA1's. Guess the apps are not processed sequentially by received date.

I have also not heard anything yet, nor has my check been cashed. Guess we must be on the same stack of unprocessed apps. Hoping to hear something this week.. Does not make sense why some who have filed after us have already received NOA1's. Guess the apps are not processed sequentially by received date.

I'm not losing hope... I don't have to explain how stressful it is.. Could you, please, send me information about the app and website? I guess I don't need it right now though, when I don't have NOA yet, right?

I have a Bachelor of Science, but I spent my last 18 months in Australia managing an IT support and repairs store - I didn't see much point tracking down a science job when I was planning to move here. Now that I'm here I'll probably try find some lab work or something along those lines. I have some friends here from my year living here in 2013, hoping one of them can help me out in finding a job! Definitely want to move away from customer service.

Heem received all 4 NOA1's (emails and texts) this morning at 12:30AM!! I guess they ignored my G-1145 but that is A-OK! Checked our bank account and checks were also cashed yesterday. So now the real wait begins.....
