What's there to lose patience for if you already have your EAD/AP?

Just received my Green Card today We didn't get called into an interview! My card is valid for 10 year though.... That has to be a mistake, right?

Yeah, ours was cashed at the beginning of this week.

I am so impatient today . Usually i am fine , but when i looked into my empty mailbox today, it just frustrated me. My NOA1 says "receipt date: 8th april" - so when will i be getting that biometrics letter? We wont be here may12th-28th; and i just know that the appointment will be right in that timeframe. I know it..ugh

Sorry for the rant.. Usually when i start to complain, something will happen.

So hopefully this helps ?

I am feeling the exact same frustration. Seeing the hard copy NOA1s (receipt date of March 29th and notice date of April 4th) calmed my nerves but that was on April 11th and to date Heem still has no Biometrics letter of appointment. I have never stalked my mailbox so hard before.....

Yup, mail just came and-nothing....

april 1st: sent i-485 to chicago lockbox

april 4th: i-485 delivered to chicago lockbox

april 7th: "biometrics fee received and accepted"

april 10th: email notification of acceptance and routing to NBC for processing

april 11th: hardcopy i-797C in mail (notice date april 8th)

april 30th: received biometrics letter for: may 11th @ 9am

june 2nd: received interview letter for: july 6th @ 11.10am

july 6th: Interview day---no decision was made

july 13th: sent e-mail to congressman, asking for an inquiry on my case.

03/22/2016 - Sent in the AOS packet

03/28/2016 - Packet was received

04/01/2016 - Official Notice Date on hardcopy

04/04/2016 - Received NOA1s by text and email

04/09/2016 - Received hardcopy NOA1s

04/15/2016 - Received Biometrics letter

04/26/2016 - Biometrics Appointment @ 10 AM

My cases haven't been updated on the USCIS site since the 4th of April which is the day I got my e-mail and text notifications. I don't think it will update until after the appointment and/or until my EAD/AP are approved/ready to be issued. That's at least what I can gather from what others are writing on this forum.

Thanks so much for sharing this! We have the same timeline, so you receiving you biometrics appointment makes me excited, but a little worried, that I haven't gotten mine yet...anywho - focusing on the positive - fingers crossed for everything to go smoothly and I am waiting to hear about your guys' appointment! :)

AOS timeline:

3/22 - package mailed to Chicago Lockbox

3/28 - package received (as noted on NOA we got in the mail later)

4/04 - NOAs sent

4/13 - NOA hardcopies received in the mail

4/18 - all three (I-485, I-765, I-131) touched (as per MyCase USCIS tracker)

4/27 - received Biometrics appointment letter

5/09 - Biometrics @ 2 pm

6/15 - called USCIS as there was no further info since the Biometrics appointment

6/16 - EAD/AP cases updated - card is in production

5/6/2016 - delivered and signed up for by R Mercado [Day 1] 7/20/2016 - called to submit a service request for my EAD. [Day 76]
5/12/2016 - checks cashed [Day 7] 7/28/2016 - case numbers for i-130 and i-765 started working to say case was received on May 6 [Day 84]

5/16/2016 - got 3 NOAs in the mail, dated May 12, priority date is 7/29/2016 - case status of I-765 is "New Card Is Being Produced", later in the evening - "Case Was Approved" [Day 85]

May 6 (haven't received any emails or texts) [Day 11] 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

6/10/2016 - got biometrics letter in the mail, notice date is June 4, 2016, which 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

Just as I thought, they wouldn't clarify anything

they told me straight away that USUALLY it takes 10 days from the day they receive the docs to get some updates

then i told them it was 18 days

they said it was strange

then they transfered me to the officer

and she told me: i don't have you in the system

i was like: yeah, cause my case wasn't processed yet

she: when did you send it? you have to wait.

me: what's the timeframe to get notices

she: 30-45 days. so you just have to wait.

f*ckers. i wonder what they'll do if those 45 days pass and there still will be no answer.

What the hell! that's so awful . i hope you will hear something sooner than that! how frustrating!

Yeah that's exactly the reason i joined this forum! my hubby got a bit tired of listening to my concerns) but he has a lot of problems by himself, so i'm just trying not to bother him with this minor stuff
