No you have to recieve the letter. To get the dates. But the biometrics letter usually comes a week after getting the text or email from what i. Have seen on other people's timeline

exactly, thats what i've heard too! i'm gonna wait till monday, then i will call that costumers helpline..

april 1st: sent i-485 to chicago lockbox

april 4th: i-485 delivered to chicago lockbox

april 7th: "biometrics fee received and accepted"

april 10th: email notification of acceptance and routing to NBC for processing

april 11th: hardcopy i-797C in mail (notice date april 8th)

april 30th: received biometrics letter for: may 11th @ 9am

june 2nd: received interview letter for: july 6th @ 11.10am

july 6th: Interview day---no decision was made

july 13th: sent e-mail to congressman, asking for an inquiry on my case.

I am so impatient today . Usually i am fine , but when i looked into my empty mailbox today, it just frustrated me. My NOA1 says "receipt date: 8th april" - so when will i be getting that biometrics letter? We wont be here may12th-28th; and i just know that the appointment will be right in that timeframe. I know it..ugh

Sorry for the rant.. Usually when i start to complain, something will happen.

So hopefully this helps ?

You should get your letter any day now. My biometrics is scheduled for the 26th and I received the letter on the 15th so you might just make the appointment in time before going away :)

Hi guys, we sent our I-485, EAD & AP last April 12 and was delivered on April 14. Still haven't received any sms & email notification yet. I just have a concern, will they still be able to encash it even if it was only U.S Department of Homeland Security no &?

Hello, everyone! I should technically be in the March filers, but the 'action' is happening in April, so i have been following this thread. It is is exciting to hear that some of you guys already have received your biometrics letters, so i have a question for you :) does your USCIC case updates before/when you got your biometrics letter? I live in Alaska so everything takes forever to get here haha

I dont know if you can see my timeline, but here it is for the AOS so far:

3/22 - sent AOS/EAD/AP packet

3/28 - received by USCIS

4/04 - got NOAs for all three with receipt numbers

Now, we did submit G-1145 for all three, but we never got an email or a text,but from what i have been reading on here, that is not uncommon.

Thanks and good luck to everyone - we're all in the same boat haha

AOS timeline:

3/22 - package mailed to Chicago Lockbox

3/28 - package received (as noted on NOA we got in the mail later)

4/04 - NOAs sent

4/13 - NOA hardcopies received in the mail

4/18 - all three (I-485, I-765, I-131) touched (as per MyCase USCIS tracker)

4/27 - received Biometrics appointment letter

5/09 - Biometrics @ 2 pm

6/15 - called USCIS as there was no further info since the Biometrics appointment

6/16 - EAD/AP cases updated - card is in production

I see we have the same timeline. Our check hasn't been cashed yet too. Well, hopefully we'll have it by end of this week. ?

04/01/2016 - Official Notice Date on hardcopy

04/04/2016 - Received NOA1s by text and email

04/09/2016 - Received hardcopy NOA1s

04/15/2016 - Received Biometrics letter

04/26/2016 - Biometrics Appointment @ 10 AM

My cases haven't been updated on the USCIS site since the 4th of April which is the day I got my e-mail and text notifications. I don't think it will update until after the appointment and/or until my EAD/AP are approved/ready to be issued. That's at least what I can gather from what others are writing on this forum.

5/5/2016 - sent docs to Chicago, AGAIN (i-485, i-130, i-765, i-864) [Day 0] 5/16/2016 - NOA [Day 11]

5/6/2016 - delivered and signed up for by R Mercado [Day 1] 7/20/2016 - called to submit a service request for my EAD. [Day 76]
5/12/2016 - checks cashed [Day 7] 7/28/2016 - case numbers for i-130 and i-765 started working to say case was received on May 6 [Day 84]

5/16/2016 - got 3 NOAs in the mail, dated May 12, priority date is 7/29/2016 - case status of I-765 is "New Card Is Being Produced", later in the evening - "Case Was Approved" [Day 85]

May 6 (haven't received any emails or texts) [Day 11] 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

6/10/2016 - got biometrics letter in the mail, notice date is June 4, 2016, which 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

is day 30 from when they picked up the package [Day 36] 8/2/2016 - case status of I-765 is "The Card was Mailed to you" [Day 90]

6/21/2016 - Biometrics walk-in in Philadelphia [Day 47] 8/4/2016 - received I-797 Notice of Action for approved I-765 [Day 92]

6/22/2016 - Scheduled Biometrics Appointment [Day 48] 8/5/2016 - EAD in mail [Day 93]

6/30/2016 - online case status started working "case is ready to be scheduled

for the interview" [Day 56]
