What's there to lose patience for if you already have your EAD/AP?

I can see so many of us losing patience, it's so frustrating we just want to be able to work and start earning a living???

True! I'm not being fair to those who are still waiting for that! But I want to enroll in classes at school and they told me that I can do that only with GC!! So I already missed this coming semester.. so hopefully it'll be here by October!

So I got a text on the 16th saying my EAD was approved, and that the new card was ordered on the 16th of July. Case status updated to reflect card in production. Then on the 18th, I got another email saying that my EAD had been approved again? Now case status just says case is approved on the 18th? Anyone else experience this? I'm paranoid that USCIS has messed up somewhere lol

Just as I was losing my patience and all hope it says EAD was sent to be produced and will be mailed to me. Thank God! I was going crazy.

Your signature notes say that you have your cards??? Are you waiting for your GC at 121?

Just as I was losing my patience and all hope it says EAD was sent to be produced and will be mailed to me. Thank God! I was going crazy.

Well, not as much for an actual GC, such as for a notification that they got my RFE response on May 13th! I haven't got anything yet.

So my online status still says that RFE was sent on May 9th.

I think your RFE went fine cause doesn't an RFE pause your EAD?? Then once they accept your documents and approve its what they wanted your EAD unpauses and continues on? The fact your got your EAD approves says to me they were satisfied with your RFE responce even if the case status doesn't reflect that

For ease of mind call and talk to a tier 2 they should be able to tell you if your RFE was accepted

There's no point to call.. I just tried it, but they didn't connect me with anyone.
The lady was trying to be helpful. She said to go to my local office and ask there about my case, which is like 3 hours from me, so no way I'm driving there.
She also said that the processing time for April filers is much longer now. She didn't say why though. She said that I can start putting request after 4 months since filling, or should because until then they won't tell me anything. So that would be the beginning of August for me.
So, don't waste your time on the phone.
If someone has any other luck, please let me know!

Hey VJ members!!!!

EAD online status just started to work this morning with message "New card is being produced"!!!!! I am so excited, so happy, so relieved. Yay!

Just FYI, I made a service request on day 75 of my I-765 receipt date, that i ever heard from. Made a new service request on day 90. Had an email 2 hours after putting the SR saying that my case is within the current processing time because of the RFE on my form I-485. Therein the I-765 application will be processed within 90 days of the receipt of the requested evidence. So the clock really start over… I immediately called the USCIS and had a very friendly representative who explained me that the infos i had from the other representative was wrong… Never trust what they say!

Anyway, I asked to expedite the application for financial loss (explaining how i am gonna default on my mortgage and student loan in September & how the company can not afford waiting for me another 2 months). Had an email the day after saying that my case is under review. I don't know if that helped my case because i see a bunch of people having their case approved around 93-94 days, but I believe the expedite request did help.

finally am done and over with, awaiting for my gc in the mail. Had my interview on Monday, not much was asked, approved on the spot. my case went soo smoothly and fast, i still can't believe it. so guys hang in there, you day is coming as well!!!

Your local office is processing at 4 months right now. Usually they won't bother with inquires until it's PAST the time stated on the USCIS processing time for the specific local office.
